INSTRUCTION

Here, students view interactive presentations in small


groups and complete activities as prompted. Not only
are kids directing their own learning, this strategy
appeals to a variety of learning styles, and helps kids
engage in meaningful discourse.

CRITICAL THINKING

Students use Padlet to answer open ended questions like,


Art is . . . iPads not only give every student a voice, but
allow them to share their thoughts without the fear of
speaking in front of a whole class. This is a great hook
activity.

AESTHETICS

Voting activities allow students to develop, reflect upon,


and defend personal preferences for works of art.

ASSESSMENT

Nearpod provides the opportunity to embed assessments


directly into instructional presentations. Data is collected
and analyzed in real time, allowing for immediate
reteaching and review, if necessary.
