ABOUT YOUR TEACHER.

I graduated from University of Wisconsin Green Bay with a BS in Education!
Something special about me is that I went to Dunwiddie for school also. I love to
read in my spare time. I have two dogs, named Ruger and Teddy, that I spend
most of my time playing and going on walks with. In the summer I like to be outside as much as possible. I love going on walks, hikes, and swimming. I have family in Washington state and go out there once a year to visit. I am really excited for
this school year!

SPECIAL POINTS OF
INTEREST

STAR STUDENT!
Each week a student will be selected to become the
Star Student! There are numerous ways on how a student can be picked. This student could always come to
class on time, never have a late or missing assignment,
show that they are listening by sitting quietly and cross
legged, always on task and doing what they are asked.
They can also be selected if they go above and beyond.
Whether that is finishing work early and doing extra work,
helping out a fellow classmate, or doing extra credit at
home.
The Star Student will get a special paper hat/crown that
they get to wear for the entire week with their name on it.
This student gets to make a poster about themselves with
their family to be hung up for that week. They can be
creative as they would like to be! We want to know about what you do for fun, who is in
your family, and what your favorite things are. :)
A special guest will come in to talk to the class about themselves and who they are to the
Star Student. You can pick who ever you want to come to class! It could be your mom,
dad, grandparents, sister, etc. It is all up to you and your family!
While your special guest is visiting you will get to read two books about who is in your
household and what your favorite things are. You will also get to make a wind chime of
your favorite things with your picture on it!
Each Star Student will have a mystery bag with 5 clues on the outside. Inside the bag
will be your favorite item and the class has to guess what it is!
You are the Star Student and we want you to feel special! :)
