Judicial System
The lack of material and human resources plus
the fact that the vast majority of conflicts just in
the judiciary, rather than solved entirely by other
procedures such as mediation. Putting into
question the functioning of our judicial system.
How could this situation be reversed? We
entered the school of law, University of Malaga
to attend a pioneer in Spain. This group of
teachers discussing matters relating to a case of
expropriation that have emerged from the room
of administrative litigation Superior Court of
Justice of Andalusia. It's not about sentencing
that is an untransferable work of judges. Its goal
is to enable rapid and orders information from
summaries of auto to search for cases of
jurisprudence. A year after its launch the results
of this initiative have been impressive, allowed to
resolve over three thousand cases in the previous
year, increasing its capacity by over 120%. This
model is particularly effective in cases that are
very similar to each other and it can apply more
or less the same criteria. Despite its novelty in
Spain, this figure of judge assistance is already
implemented in other countries such as
Germany, France, Austria; Belgium or in
institutions such as the European human rights
court to demonstrate its effectiveness and its
ability to legally protect citizens.
