AT&T AND THE CHICAGO BULLS HONOR LOCAL MILITARY

WITH WELCOME HOME WEEKEND
Returning service men and women to receive ultimate fan experience during
November 10th game at the United Center

CHICAGO, November 7, 2014 To support local military personnel who recently returned
from deployments overseas, AT&T* is working with USO of Illinois to offer the ultimate Chicago
Bulls fan experience to 25 service men and women and a guest of their choosing. These service
members will be honored during the November 10th home game against the Detroit Pistons with
a chance to play basketball on the Chicago Bulls home court before the start of the game.
Service members and their guests will enjoy a buffet dinner, receive Bulls merchandise and
meet with legendary Bulls alumni.
By teaming with USO of Illinois and the Chicago Bulls, we are able to show our gratitude for
these brave men and women that have sacrificed so much for our country. We want to thank
them for their extraordinary service and welcome them home with a chance to relax and spend
time with their loved ones at the game, said Shelley Goodman, vice president and general
manager of AT&T Illinois & Wisconsin.
Supporting veterans, active military personnel and their families is an AT&T tradition.

In April 2013, AT&T announced that it had set a goal to hire 5,000 veterans and their
family members over the next five years. In November 2013, AT&T doubled that
commitment to 10,000.

In 2013, AT&T hired more than 4,000 veterans and their family members. AT&T hired
nearly 1,000 veterans in 1Q14.

As of Jan. 31, 2014, more than 7,000 AT&T employees had self-identified as veterans.

AT&T was one of the first corporate partners to join the 100,000 Jobs Mission, an effort
to hire veterans and military members leaving active duty.

AT&T led an initiative with JPMorgan Chase and the 100,000 Jobs Mission to create the
veteran talent exchange, www.vtx.jobs, which enables employers to share veteran
resumes among each other.
