Instructions for making a trailer

1. Read the story The Chronicles of Narnia.


2. Create a trailer using the template in iMovie. Pretend
that this is the first time it is being shown on screen.
How are you going to unfold the story in a way that
makes people want to see your movie?
3. Create a script that will tell the story in a sequence
that unfolds naturally. Does your trailer have a
beginning, middle and end? You may want to
introduce characters, setting, plot etc.
4. Use all of the writing prompts available.
5. Find pictures and use all of the picture spaces.
6. Make sure your trailer connects very closely to the
book, and be creative.
