line and is a

the articles in
the magazine.

Borders. The borders

around the images are
screw like effects so it
looks like the image
has just been attached
onto the magazine.
This also adds a cool
effect which will relate
to the type of target
audience which will
read the magazine.
Also the rest of the
borders all relate with
the same colours.

Title is contents. This tells

the audience what part of
the magazine this page is
showing. The font is clear
and bold so the audience
can see it- stands out.

Shot types the

shot is taken on a
diagonal also
showing its quite
informal and fun.
The clothing on
the model is quite
chilled and fits with
the genre of music.

Columns and layout allow you to apply

rule of thirds to the magazine. The
columns organise the magazine so it is
neat. They are not the same size because
the middle section has more important
information than the sides, so the bigger
column will be more obvious and will
attract more audience.

Adverts the adverts

represent another music
magazine which is the
same genre. This also will
attract to the target
audience because they
will be interested in that
magazine also.

The font used is bold and big, it is not a

formal font and looks like some of it has
been rubbed out and some hasnt. This
contrasts with the rock type of genre
because it is crazy and messy. Also they
use 3 colours only which all go together.
