Tea 2a&tain3
The tea ca&tain revie's the entire &rocess and kee&s the tea
on track 4&erforing their roles5. The ca&tain is res&onsible for
understanding the overall goal &rocess and &roviding
encourageent to the tea. During the building &hase+ the tea
ca&tain 'ill be the deciding vote in construction -uestions. The
ca&tain is also res&onsible for 'orking ahead of the tea to
deterine the ne6t ste&+ including aking sure the
&arts.batteries.&rograing is ready. The tea ca&tain 'ill
deterine 'hen the tea has acco&lished building the robot
according to the kit directions and 'hen the tea is ready to
design 7 begin the robot ada&tion.change. The ca&tain 'ill 'ork
'ith the &rograer to assist in the &rograing and.or robot
driving. The ca&tain 'ill also 'ork 'ith other tea ca&tains to
devise the deonstration challenge.task.
8e&orter3
The re&orter is res&onsible for taking &ictures and recording the
details of the brainstoring+ building &rocess and final &ro9ect of
both the 2la'bot."eerBot and the ada&ted bot. The re&orter 'ill
cobine the engineer(s 'ritten instructions+ &hotos and other
docuentation into a final &ro9ect.
Engineer3
Before the build &hase the Engineer and the Tea 2a&tain
failiari:e theselves 'ith the &arts contained in the robotic kit.
During the build &hase+ the engineer relates the kit instructions
to the other tea ebers. #n addition the engineer 'rites 4or
dictates to the re&orter5 instructions.descri&tion of the &rocess
of creating the 2la'bot."eerBot and the changes ade for the
ada&tation &hase.
Artisan3
The artisan 'ill a&&ly the hands;on techni-ues to the build of the
robot. The artisan is res&onsible for the &hysical construction of
both the 2la'bot and the ada&ted bot. The artisan 'ill decide if
another tea eber4s5 can.should &artici&ate in the hands;on
construction of the robot.

both the 2la'bot and the ada&ted bot. The &rograer is also
the one 'ho 'ill drive the co&leted robot during the
deonstration.
