Journalists and School of Journalism at the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

Where? Sessions will be in Carroll Hall,
home of the UNC-CH School of Journalism
and Mass Communication.
Why? To learn more about journalism as a
field of study and as a career

A typed, 250-word essay on the theme
“Diversity in the Media”

– writing samples such as articles, sto-
ries, essays or other class assignments.
Unpublished manuscripts or broadcast
scripts are also acceptable. (Materials will
not be returned, and photocopies are ac-
ceptable.)
$25 registration fee. Make check pay-
able to CABJ. (Checks will be returned
to students not accepted.)
