THE BATTLE FOR FRANCE
It was January 1
st
2040; the New Roman occupation forces in Germany came under attack from
French soldiers just what New Rome wanted to attack. Now the New Roman forces in Germany
and Spain led the attack against France, the war had begun the provincial governors in Germany
and Spain sent a message to New Rome and the Emperor sent 600 battle ships 1000 artillery
pieces plus legion men to control them and 1 infantry legion his new 9
th
elite strike legion (the
only directly trained and recruited to act as a strike legion) and his elite 11
th
archer legion (2
nd

only to the 10
th
archer legion). With this the New Romans began their fight for city code named
Neptunes trident a major city for France with an air force, mechanized armor and artillery base
all in it the German New Roman forces needed to take it out so the artillery legions and archer
legion went to Germany as well as 300 ships the strike legion went to Spain and the rest of the
ships. The attack took place at midnight on January 2
nd
2040, the artillery aimed with the
ballistae, totem missiles, and bell-onagers at the artillery base eliminating it. The French air force
took off hoping to gain an advantage, but the New Romans surprised them with their new anti-air
craft missile blasting the French air crafts out of the skies. Now the New Romans showed their
new weapon the Jupiter glider launching the Greek fire air to ground missile known as Jupiter
bolt at the French air force base and mechanized armor base blowing up both with just 30 of
these gliders in both Spain and Germany they used them very rarely the New Romans in total
only controlled a total of 10,000 of them so they preferred to use them on targets close by so they
dont have to use the fuel and risk losing the aircraft. The strike legion charged in and attacked
the destroyed city with the remaining French forces trying to fight back, but by noon on the 2
nd

of January 2040 the city was captured with only 90 legionnaires dead and more than 10,000 of
the French soldiers dead their air force losing a base of 6000 jets and a mechanized armor base
destroyed killing 10,000 tanks and more than 100,000 artillery pieces including machine guns,
howitzers, and mortars destroyed. The French president instantly ordered immediate attacks of
all tanks, artillery, jets, and infantry near the town, the New Roman Emperor hearing this ordered
all forces to move toward France immediately leaving his 10
th
home infantry, archers, artillery,
and navy legions to remain at the islands to defend it from attack. With this the Emperor his
generals and his massive military charged off towards France planning to end this war with a
massive assault, when the message got to the commander of the combined forces in France they
turned towards an old landing beach Normandy. The new romans forces set forward on a force
marched at triple speed they had to capture Normandy before their Emperor and back up arrived.

They arrived at Normandy at midnight on January 3
rd
2040, they marched straight forward
towards the gate encamping around the city. The commander of the new roman forces told the
city to surrender; it failed though the city opened fire. The first bullets rang out and blood spilled.

AN EMPRESSS MESSAGE AND THE MOST DANGEROUS MISSION OF ALL
As the new roman Emperor arrived at Normandy, he witnessed a destructive fight. The
French forces had shot and killed 6 young legionaries, resulting in the first 6 new roman men
killed during a European war. The Emperor ordered all archers and artillery ships fire in the
coast and the French forces. The new roman commander, Commander Claudius Agrippa was a
good provincial leader but his military tactics had been questionable sending his Cavalry,
Artillery, and archer legions off to a massive rebellion in Greece and Egypt and not accepting
their request to come back. This leaving him with just 6 legions to govern Germany and of the 6
legions only 2 of them had been veteran legions.
As Claudius turned around to give a traditional Roman salute, he caught sight of New
Romes cruise missile Plutos fist being launched and following its path he saw it blast a
massive crater in the enemy forces area. The enemy lost more than 100,000 men in that one
blast, with this the enemy called a retreat the New Romans sent landing craft with this they
deployed 6 cavalry legions including the infamous 10
th
cavalry legion to mop up and/or capture
the fleeing enemy. The French in that one battle lost nearly 1 million troops. The Emperor had
just disembarked when an urgent red ribbon gold leaf messenger eagle arrived; it was from the
empress (Lucia Caesar) the news was from her and the two famous roman doctors on the island
that focused on the palace families. The news hit the Emperor hard and made the drive to end
this war more urgent, the queen was to have twins another girl and another boy.

THE NEWS HITS CLOSE
With this the Emperor decided defense forces for the islands was now enough, he order 4
artillery legions and 2 naval legions to rush home and stay there he chose the 1

artillery legions and his premiere 10
th
and 11
th
naval legions to return home ASAP. With this he
cut his massive nearly 100 million man and artillery forces down to only 50 million. The
Emperor turned his focus and with a combined total of 100 infantry, 100 cavalry, 100 artillery,
and 100 archer legions totaling 400 total legions and a force of 50 million men, he would
encircle Paris and starve the country into submission he, deployed 50 infantry legions to take
northern French areas over, 50 cavalry legions to take the southern French areas, 50 artillery
legions to take eastern French areas over and then the rest would take the west while the archers
provided intelligence and a control of the city limits of Paris. Then he took his 10
th
legion and
marched forward toward Paris hoping to convince them of surrender by the time they arrived the
enemy had heard the southern and northern French areas were captured with the east and west
almost eliminated.
Once he arriver outside Paris he sent a message back to New Rome to tell the chief trainer to
build a new and improved lightening 10
th
strike legion code named fulmen ferio legio. This
would be trained with just a dagger to infiltrate the enemy bases and overwhelm their defenses.
The elite legion is meant to end any war as quick and bloodless as possible. In the morning the
Emperor got his gear on to begin the siege of Paris his 15 pound bell-meta armor, 3 New Greek
fire bombs, his twin bell-meta gladius, his bell-meta rounded rectangular shield, his twin bell-
meta pilum, and his twin bell-meta pugio.

THE CITY OF LIGHT GOES DARK
The New Roman famous General Gaius Julius Caesar rushed to meet the Emperor saying
sir, we have 3 artillery legions the 20
th
through the 23
rd
readied as well as the 10
th
cavalry
legions and 2 archer legions the 5
th
and 10
th
archers and asked what are your orders? The
Emperor ordered Caesar to march with the 1
st
cohort of his 10
th
infantry legion to check on his
siege engines. Paris was one of the cities that after New Rome showed up as a world power most
countries in the world switched to old style defense massive steel and concrete walls around a
city. For this reason the New Romans made massive advances and tactics in siege weaponry and
the Emperor had made sure his best siege engines were brought along for this famous battle.
At 7 Am the Emperor ordered his artillery to fire bell-onagers launch 30 pound New Greek
fire bombs into the city, ballistae and bell-ballistae (a ballistae that is meant to fire a bolt with
New Greek fire 10 ounce glass jar behind it to blow a massive hole in enemy fortresses) plus the
onagers which launched 30 pound boulders at a speed of 1200 feet per second or 818 miles per
hour or 897 km/h. The first few bombs missed their mark but after 10 the rest hit their mark.
Hitting the power station, water facilities, food storage, ammo and weapons bunkers, and the
troop barracks this massive fire spread only 50 New Greek fire bombs were launched and after
only 3 hours half the city had burned. The Emperor orders all artillery strikes to cease and then
sent an envoy into the city to ask for an unconditional surrender or his men will raid and destroy
the city. The envoy returned 30 minutes later the news was that the French will not surrender but
request the women and children be let free of the massacre, the Emperor obliged.
By noon on Tuesday January 10
th
, 2040 the capital of Paris was dark and the women and
children had left the city.

THE NEW ROMANS PREPARE FOR THEIR BLOOD BATH
By 1 Pm the New Romans had 7 infantry legions, 4 archer legions, 5 cavalry legions, and 9
artillery legions outside the city of Paris. The city of light had now been darkened for 3 hours
only males were left inside the city, the siege engines arrived and the Emperor sent another
envoy saying that you are completely surrounded and within an hour we will storm the city and
slaughter anything breathing and sack this city and burn it to the ground if you do not
unconditionally surrender to me in 30 minutes with this the envoy left and told the Emperor that
altogether the French had maybe 30,000 men in service to fight and maybe another 70,000 that
can put up a fight the other 100,000 men inside have no skills and are to injured or old to fight
the troops. The enemy had no one they could with stand a daring roman raid with this the
Emperor now took count and had 8 legions of infantry, archers, cavalry, and artillery. This was
good he divided so each flank of the city gained two legions each the north his side gained his
10
th
archers, infantry, cavalry, and artillery as well as its brother legions the 11
th
then the west
got the 22
nd
and 23
rd
archer, infantry, artillery, and cavalry, the east gained the 20
th
and 21
st

archer, infantry, artillery, and cavalry legion, the south gained the 5
th
and 6
th
infantry, artillery,
archer, and cavalry legions to ensure they blocked all exits and charged all sides and gave each
flank a trusted General the east gained General Germanicus, the west gained General Pompeius
Maximus Thrax, the north of course under the emperors command, and the south gained the
great General Gaius Julius Caesar.
The Emperor ordered all troops to kill any who flee the city and only one infantry legion
enters the city. The blood bath would begin.

THE HUNT FOR THE 5 BIG ONES
The Emperor yelled to his legion who ever find the French big 5 will get 50 gold talons
(each talon was 1 pound of pure 24k gold, in total close 900,000 us dollars). This was yelled
through the city and all legions charged to find the big 5. Though the Emperor already knew that
the big 5 were inside a bunker underneath the Eiffel Tower, he led the legendary 10
th
legion
toward the infamous tower. As the Emperor and his legionaries marched past a local caf, a
sniper opened fire the weapon was the HecateII (the rifle fire a .50 caliber round) the Emperor
heard the shot but before he could raise his shield one of his centurions from the first cohort of
the 10
th
legion jumped in front the bullet hit him in the thigh as he fell bleeding out, the enemy
charged with assault rifles the Emperor unslinging his bow from his back and notching an arrow
he pulled the string firing at the sniper killing him instantly.
The enemy opened fire killing 7 legionaries and injuring 2 others the legion formed a tetsudo
formation (tortoise shell) around the emperor. They marched forward swords out as they
approached the enemy with assault rifles they knew the enemy would flee. When the New
Romans were within stabbing distance the French soldiers turned and fled, the New Romans
capitalized breaking the formation and throwing their pilums killing the fleeing soldiers. The
New Romans charged toward the Eiffel Tower, as they reached it they had a pool of French
blood 1 foot deep. The Emperor opened the bunker door, as he and his 10
th
legion charged down
the stairwell and through the tunnel they killed any person they saw and charged into rooms
killing the occupants. They finally reached the biggest room with 3 foot steel and marble doors
the Emperor sliced through the doors with his sword like they were melted butter, the New
Romans captured the big 5.

THE SURRENDER OF FRANCE AND THE SAIL HOME
The 10
th
legion earned the reward and escorted the big 5 to the NATO meeting in
Switzerland; the surrender was announced to the world the president and 4 highest Generals of
France were forced to sign a complete surrender treaty France belongs to New Rome. As the
Emperor walked out of the meeting the New Roman troops they escorted the Emperor had
brought almost the full navy to bring the troops and spoils back to new Rome. As the French big
5 walked out the meeting the emperors archers across the line in Germany fired an arrow killing
the big 5. The Emperor smiled knowing what had happened and sent an order to the infantry
legions kill the 5 archers that killed the French big 5 (the archers were captured German soldiers)
when the United states ordered the killers to be prosecuted the infantry gathered the 5 archers on
the border and impaled them on steaks along the major road.
The naval ships set sail with the Emperor and the spoils; they were ambushed by a Cuban sub
that attempted to blow up the ship the emperors ship. The torpedo failed but resulted in the sub
being blown up and the western hemisphere faced the New Roman war machine, Cuba would be
facing the massive empire. The Emperor was more worried about getting home and seeing his
wife, when he was nearly 6 minutes out the captain of the ship halted and the 10
th
legion
demanded their talons, this being that those legionaries were overdue for retirement. The
Emperor upset with this delay and annoyance ordered his General Gaius Julius Caesar to bring
the case of looted gold bars to the deck.
The chest was dropped in front of the Emperor in total there was 10,000,000 ounces of gold
or 625,000 pounds enough for each legionary and enough for the country and each ship
contained 70 chests this size totaling 900 billion pounds of gold or 45 million tons.

THE ARRIVAL AND THE NEW PRINCE AND PRINCESS
As the ship docked on shore the emperors famous specially bred horse, a black stallion with
crimson red eyes, the Emperor only road this horse back into New Rome after a very successful
war, with this the Emperor didnt bother to wait for his escort, guards, and generals to disembark
from the ships. He got off and jumped on the horse riding as quick as possible from the center
island of Portis to the island of New Rome across the bell-meta bridge, by the time the 1
st
cohort
of the 10
th
legion caught up the Emperor had jumped off his horse and ran into the palace.
His most loyal and brilliant General Gaius Julius Caesar quickly rushed in after him to find
him in the royal bedroom kissing and hugging his wife as the princes Romulus and Remus and
the princess Lupa all played with their new little brother and sister. The great General knelled to
the royal family, the Emperor decided the boy is named Marius Julius Caesar and the girl should
be named Artemis Diana Caesar. The great Emperor was ashamed to be showing his emotions,
but he jumped for joy and smiled ear to ear before realizing the famous General had seen the
whole event. This resulting in the Emperor ordering the General to secrecy to die with this secret,
the General willingly agreed.
The Emperor marched out to the 4
th
floor of the palace and out onto the balcony to announce
the victory of France. He yelled this so loud that all the citizens nearby heard with this most of
the European content is ours, we control Britannia, Spain, France, Greece, Germania, soon we
will possess the rest of the European continent. This was secondary to the threat, Cuba. The
Emperor needed the agreement of the Olympians to begin war in the winter months.

THE MEETING OF THE 13 AND THE PLANS OF BATTLE


At 5 am on January 13, 2040, the Emperor rode to the legendary mountain on the island of
Portus. As he climbed the deadly mount to the temple, his meeting with the 12 Olympians to
discuss the war, the meeting was targeting the 3 Olympians that could sway the rest the goddess
Minerva (Athena) wisdom and battle strategy, mars (Ares) god of war and battle intelligence,
Jupiter (Zeus) king of the Olympians. This strategy worked perfectly within 4 hours the Emperor
had successfully gotten the 12 Olympians to agree to allow the war with Cuba. The Emperor
gathered a preliminary attack force, his 10
th
infantry, cavalry, archer, and artillery legions as well
as his 10
th
lightning strike legion.
The New Romans were ready to fight their enemy. The Emperor had already set sail with his
elite full military 10
th
legions. The Cubans expecting this had prepared anti-naval defenses, using
their navy and army. The Emperor came prepared his main force swung around from the rear
while the secondary force of mixed European and Vietnamese fighters charged toward the main
beach where the Cubans had their defenses.
The Emperor and all his New Roman warriors took to the south beach virtually unopposed,
while the decoy Vietnamese and European fighters took the massive fire power of the Cubans.
The Emperor hopped that some of his decoy infantry would make it to join the main force, the
New Romans charged with their full artillery, infantry, archer, and cavalry forces. The Cuban
defense forces on the south beach were minor infantry and some light artillery, the Emperor used
the New Greek fire cruise missile to blast away the defenses. The Emperor decided what he
would do next.

THE BATTLE OF CUBA AND THE BLOOD STAINED SAND
When the New Romans finally set foot on the south shore of Cuba, the Emperor decided to
send 2 cohorts of his premier 10
th
cavalry and archer legions to the north shore to hunt for
survivors. As the Emperor and the rest of his forces killed any Cubans that remained on the
shore, with this he deployed his 10
th
lightning strike legion to scout for any close villages that
were safe to set up camp in, the legion came back that a village that was a 5 minute march from
the beach that was abandoned. Emperor John marched his forces toward the village as he arrived
in the village a messenger eagle arrived alerting that the cohort detachments he had sent were on
their way back and the decoy force had perished in the fight.
The Cuban dictator code named Hannibal had ordered his air force to bomb the New
Roman camp; the Emperor knowing he would do it prepared his artillery to defend the camp. As
the first aircraft flew in range of the camp the Emperor launched his ballistae bolts instantly
shooting the aircraft out of the sky the bolt of the ballistae went at a record speed of Mach 10 or
11164 feet per second. The aircraft squadron behind were met by the bolts and the bellmeta-
onagers and onagers the 30 pound boulders and 15 pound New Greek fire bombs going Mach 12
or 13397 feet per second the Cuban fighter squadron that went by the call sign omega bravo 6
were destroyed with no pilots left alive. By 9:00 pm the New Roman camp had been asleep their
sentries on alert.
The morning of January 14,

2040 the Emperor and the New Roman camp had awakened to
the sounds of gunfire the Cubans had been trying to retake the village, the Emperor ordered
cavalry and archer legions to attack. Within 10 minutes 90% of the Cuban fighters were dead and
the rest had fled.

THE NORTH BEACH AND THE REINFORCEMENTS
Instead of ordering his men to hunt down the Cubans that had been fleeing the Emperor
ordered half of all the forces and artillery he had with him to go to the north beach and secure it
for the reinforcements. The remaining 6 cohorts of all the 10
th
cavalry, infantry, archer, artillery
legions were ordered to fortify the camp more while 1
st
cohort of the 10
th
archer was sent to hunt
for food. The full 10
th
strike legion was ordered to march toward the Cuban bigger cities to
sabotage the enemy bases and military. The Emperor was waiting for word for most of the day
that the reinforcements were arriving when the messenger eagle arrived saying that the other 4
highest ranking generals had just left with the full 200 legions of artillery, cavalry, archers, and
infantry from New Rome.
The total force due to arrive by midnight was 8 million strong the full navy was arriving to.
The Emperor was happy with this massive amount of troops. Though he was upset that originally
he had 500 legions of cavalry, artillery, archers, and infantry but had to send the other 300
legions of each to the eastern hemisphere to help govern the provinces, by 6 pm the Cubans
lunched both artillery and mechanized armor units (tanks) as well as attack aircraft from 3 sides
while their infantry circled around from the rear. The Emperor ordered his artillery to take to the
east, west, and north flanks of the camp and to fire at the enemy under orders from the centurions
while cavalry, archer, and infantry forces were ordered to charge the enemy infantry to eliminate
that threat.
The artillery made quick work of the enemy tanks, artillery, and fighter aircrafts. The Cuban
infantry didnt do much better. The Cuban intelligence agency had found out about the 8 million
New Roman forces, their leader Hannibal surrendered.

THE CUBAN LEADER DISCUSSES SURRENDER
The Cuban leader code named Hannibal had ridden to the camp in an armored personal
carrier. He hoped the New Roman forces would accept an unconditional surrender; he was met
by a wall of destroyed artillery weapons, tanks, aircraft, and a wall of dead Cuban soldiers. With
this he was forced to walk with his 6 man armed guard escort to the New Roman camp, he was
saved by his quick movements as a rain of lethal arrows rained down on him and his guards
killing his guards instantly. The Cuban leader was forced to walk toward the New Roman camp
alone and with just a handgun.
As he approached the New Roman camp in the village of Santa Ventrea, the Emperor
ordered the 1
st
and 2
nd
cohort of the 10
th
cavalry legion to intercept the Cuban leader. As the 200
men of the 10
th
cavalry legion approached the leader he drew his handgun and fired the 17
rounds in the only magazine for it, once out of ammo the cowardly Cuban leader fled like a
cobra facing a mongoose. The cavalry legionaries expect this quickly rose up their shields quick
as lightning blocking the pistol rounds as their senior centurion threw his pilum the lethal missile
like spear flew over head of the Cuban leader landing so closely in front of him that the leader
fell back in shock. As the cavalry charged forward they were met by the Cuban leader willingly
surrendering to them, they hog tied the leader using Paracord with that they also used bell-meta
handcuffs.
The Cuban leader was brought to the emperor; the surrender was suggested and rejected. The
Emperor ordered he be thrown out of the camp. The Emperor wasnt aiming for a surrender he
wanted to raze Cuba then use it and islands it controlled for more land. This was the whole point
of this war.

THE 200 LEGIONS, FIRE AND GOLD MARK THE WAY
The Emperor ordered half his cavalry, artillery, infantry, and archer legions to secure the
other beach head. To ensure his reinforcements would have a safe landing. A total of 20,000
troops under command of General Hadrian whose full name is (Hadrian Crassus now). The
forces sent were of significant size; finally at 5 am on January 15, 2040 the reinforcements
arrived at the camp now the massive force more than 8 million strong had arrived while the New
Roman navy blockaded the Cuban islands.
The New Roman forces split up when they left camp, going to the east, west, and south of
Havana, Cuba while the 10
th
naval legions targeted it from the sea. The Cubans were ready for
this they sent out the first wave of 6,000 tanks and 10,000 jets. Thanks to the New Roman
inventors and the heavy cavalry of the 15
th
cavalry legion they had homemade tanks ballistaes,
bell-ballistae, onagers, and bell-onagers using these tanks they blew away the Cuban air force
and launched the rest of these weapons against the Cuban tanks slaughtering them. As the New
Romans force moved forward they slowly obliterated the Cuban forces.
By noon the New Roman forces began artillery strikes on Havana, Cuba using ground and
naval artillery forces. The capital of Cuba was bombed using normal bolts and boulders as well
as New Greek fire bombs making the city catch fire, within 1 hour the whole city except the
center which was the diplomatic and monetary area of the city. With this the Emperor led his 10
th

legion into the cities center; they quickly raided the gold and silver supplies of Cuba. With this
they evacuated onto the ships and the full razing of Cuba began, they used all New Greek fire
bombs to set a massive fire along the sea shores and inside the city.

THE RIDE HOME AND THE SPOILS OF WAR
By 5 pm on January 15, 2040 the New Roman navy and all 8 million+ troops headed home.
The Emperor had successfully looted 70 million dollars in gold and silver from the recently
obliterated Cuban islands. With this the Emperor now controlled 4 other islands that now had no
other people on them. The New Romans for the first time ever had wiped out everyone in a
nation.
Though they did miss the Cubans that were in other countries, they still successfully wiped
out more than 90% of the Cuban population. The Emperor didnt try to deny this slaughtering,
with the gold and silver he quickly began setting up and paying off any debt for this war. The
Emperor also began sending legionaries to these 4 new islands to provide protection for the
farmers that were to use this land; his engineers also were ordered to connect these islands using
bell-meta bridges. The Emperor was happy to use the bell-meta to turn these islands into more
useful things, but he had to wait to work on these islands until after he had to meet with the
United Nations in New York, USA.
As the Emperor walked into the UN meeting the next week his armor, shield, sword, dagger,
and 1 New Greek fire grenade as well as his armed 10
th
cohort of the 10
th
infantry legion and his
full 10
th
cavalry and archer legions waiting outside, the Emperor was welcomed with warm
hospitality countries that hated each other had grown to like each other in light of the common
enemy of New Rome. As he took his seat at the major world power table, he heard the current
bill on the table that New Rome was being charged with genocide and acts of war. The Emperor
stood up so quick that his chair flew back hitting the Russian president clean in the head and
chest.

THE WARNING TO THE WORLD AND A CLEAR LINE
The Emperor responded to the allegations made by the other countries of the world yelling
loud enough for his own soldier outside to hear, Listen and heed my warning if you take this
past a warning to me then you will see the full force of the New Roman empire, I did what none
of you could me and my military took Vietnam, France, Greece, Spain, Germany, Egypt, and
Cuba. Continuing with this level of speech and warnings, My country has captured the very
countries that threaten it and any country that dares raise a weapon or attacks my country will
face the full wrath of a nation that conquered the country that no other nation could take. The
Emperor clearly warned and drew a line that marked where war would start. The Emperor
walked away from the meeting his soldiers going with him once at the coast of Florida after
riding for 3 days straight they sailed home.

Britannia, Russia, and China the countries that were this foolish were the ones the Emperor knew
would be this stupid.

THE MISTAKES OF 4
The Emperor ordered his lightning strike legions to act, to sabotage these nations. The ones
in and near Russia and China were ordered to focus on the communications and industrial places
of these nations. The Emperor ordered all German and Egyptian and Greek legions to attack
Russia and all Vietnamese legions to rush China, the Emperor also ordered his French and
Spaniard legions to charge Britannia. While he focused the legions he had on the New Roman
home islands on the USA, the lightning strike legions in both the USA and Britannia were
ordered to sabotage those nations as well.
The Emperor ordered his navy to split up one half to blow through the Panama Canals
defense and to go through and attack the west coast with this mission he left it under command
of Admiral Marcus Antony. With this naval divide and conquer strategy he ordered half the
ground forces be split up the half attack the west was to be cavalry, archers, artillery, and
infantry legions 100 through 200 under the command of General Gaius Marcus Aurelius, while
the eastern attack force was under his command and was cavalry, infantry, archer, and artillery
legions 1 through 100 in total the force was 8 million strong hitting the United States Of
America. The Emperor was more than happy to show case his power; he used two full naval and
marine infantry, artillery, cavalry, and archer legions to attack the states in the Gulf of Mexico.
This was of strategic importance the states in the middle of the country were the primary use of
crops and fish, the Emperor ordered the aircraft under the New Roman empires control to drop
New Greek fire bombs all over the United States.
Soon this war would begin and end. The Emperor intended to keep his word. Now the 5
super powers of the world were at war. This was something the UN had feared for so long.

CHINA AND RUSSIA FALL TO FIRE.
The emperors strategy to divide and conquer was working only 2 days after the Emperor got
the jump on Britannia, the United States, Russia, and China and declared war first the countries
of China and Russia had taken heavy losses the power of the New Roman provinces of Egypt,
Greece, and Germany had successfully overwhelmed the Russian defenses and the Vietnamese
forces had destroyed the great wall of china in a matter of hours and had stormed into China.
Russia was suffering from their mistake of underestimating the combined forces of Germany,
Greece, and Egypt which now had forced Russia into a defensive strategy as nothing but
Moscow was left. While China was holding out at a base 100 miles from Beijing, by the end of
the day these two nations were eliminated from this war. With this the New Romans turned all
focus on Britannia and the United States, on the way to deploy ships and troops to Britannia the
New Roman province troops burned every village and city they came through in China and
Russia. This fire quickly spread destroying 90% of these nations.
The troops sailed toward Britannia which had already been invaded and was suffering their
mistake. The New Romans set sail for the United States and had divided his forces, 30 legions
had taken the Mississippi river and the Gulf of Mexico, while the massive force of 100 artillery,
marine, infantry, cavalry, archer, and naval legions set sail to crush through the panama canal to
get at the US West coast. The New Roman secondary forces sailed toward the East coast; they
would be launching a double pincer movement. This strategy required pure power and proper
communications.

THE ATTACK ON CALIFORNIA AND NEW YORK AND MAINE
The Emperor had thought ahead he split his forces in half and on the way to New York,
USA; he sent other ships to invade other coastal cities hoping to blitz and overwhelm the US.
This coordinated Atlantic assault forced forces from the west coast to divert to the east coast, as
the New Romans forces flanked from the west crushing the reinforcements and capturing
California within 1 day of landing. General Gaius Marcus Aurelius ordered his forces to split up
and go through states on the Mexican border and the Canadian border, while the Emperor
charged through the states on the east coast crushing the states along the eastern sea board.
Within a week of the invasion they conquered from Texass back on the west coast and from
Florida to Maine on the east coast.
With this the only states left unconquered are: Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio,
Michigan, and West Virginia. The Emperor met up with all his forces in Illinois, there General
Gaius Marcus Aurelius alerted the Emperor that two of his artillery, infantry, cavalry, archer, and
marine legions were ordered to remain in the west coast to ensure they remained controlled;
meanwhile the United States president had taken up Michigan as his hideout. While the Emperor
ordered the people in the state of Indiana surrender, meanwhile his men attacked Tennessee and
his archers took aim at West Virginia crushing both states in a blind side. The New Roman naval
forces in the Gulf of Mexico sailed two war ships up the Mississippi river, to attack the great
lakes and launch an assault on Michigan to capture the president. This assault was done in two
waves as the ground forces still split in half invaded Kentucky and Ohio.

THE MIDDLE GIVES WAY KENTUCKY AND OHIO LOOK ON
As the forces under the command of Emperor John invaded Kentucky, the forces under
General Gaius Marcus Aurelius split and charged around Kentucky to go into Ohio. The US
militaries had the flaws of immorality while the New Roman military had high moral making
each battle quick and easy, within 7 hours Kentucky fell and Ohio fell within 3 hours of
Kentuckys defeat. The Campaign had lasted just 3 days and now the US was down to two
states, finally at midnight on February 25, 2040 the state of Indiana gave way and surrendered.
All but 2 infantry, artillery, cavalry, and archer legions of New Roman ground troops charged
into Michigan and by 4 am on February 26, 2040 the full force of all 200 cavalry, infantry,
artillery, and archer legions of New Rome had poured into Michigan.
They were met with fierce US army, marine, and air force troops left in total 10,000
American troops, compared to the 7 million 920 thousand New Roman forces the forces in
Michigan were met with a fierce fight. The president was located in the center of Michigan while
the ground forces of New Rome charged toward and the marine forces charged from the North,
West, and East and the ground forces charged from the South quickly overwhelming and
surrounding the city the President hid out in Lansing the capital of Michigan. The city was put
under the pressure of the elite New Roman siege warfare, the Emperor surrounded the city and
issued an order to the city: all women, children, and men unable to fight should leave now you
have 1 day to leave. The cities men with disabilities and that are 65 or older left with women
and children under 18.

THE SURPRISE OF ONE
As the sun rose on February 29, 2040, the siege of Lansing the capital of Michigan and the
acting capital of the United States of America was entering its 3

captured, this coming after the Emperor ordered all men that couldnt fight and all women and
all children under the age of 18 to leave the city. At 4 am on February 29, 2040 three 747 jumbo
jets were shot down trying to leave the city, unlike other wars everyone else in conquered states
of the US watched TV and went to work like normal except any federal transportation or jobs
involving federal government were shut down. The Emperor now began using ballistae, bell-
ballistae, bell-onagers, onagers, and the New Greek fire totem missile as well as the New Roman
gliders used in previous conflicts the Jupiter glider to drop New Greek fire bombs all over the
city and to ensure the airspace was new Roman.
Finally on March 6, 2040 the President surrendered to the new romans the war with 3 of the
4 foolish countries Russia, China, USA, and Britannia had fallen now the Emperor ordered all
forces back to New Rome after establishing the US government with a New Roman provincial
emperor, the New Leader was named the successfully General of this war Gaius Marcus
Aurelius. Now the New Roman Emperor John Sailed back to New Rome, and ordered legions
100 through 200 of cavalry, infantry, artillery, archer, naval, and marine to aid in the attack on
Britannia. The Emperor sent General Gaius Suetonius Vespasian to command these forces. Once
there they found Britannia under siege the coast around captured and the ocean around
barricaded while air traffic had been halted under threat of being shot down.

BRITANNIA THE CHALLENGE OF THE OLD VERSUS NEW
General Gaius Suetonius Vespasian had been granted title of Field Marshal and answered
only to the emperor, he relayed ordered that all women and children under 18 may flee to Ireland
to fly out to the USA safely but will be checked by New Roman soldiers. At midnight on March
27, 2040 all innocent women and children under 18 had fled that wanted to, Field Marshal
Vespasian took the elite new shield weapon on this invasion the ballistae shield a shield that
when hit it winds up a coil spring and once maxed out it fires a ballistae bolt fire killing anyone
in the middle of its path. This would be a very quick war with the amount of power being poured
into this war.
The British military attempted to counter using tanks, aircrafts, artillery, and massive infantry
forces to try to hold back the New Roman invasion, this worked for the first 3 hours but soon the
full New Roman naval forces using their New Greek fire cruise missiles to crush the British
artillery, tanks, and aircraft while the full power of the New Roman ground forces charged off
the ships rushing toward the enemy infantry. With cavalry, infantry, artillery, and archer legions
charging toward the weakened and scared British soldiers, the brits quickly turned tail and ran
they were cut down by a mix of their own traps and the New Roman forces chasing them. The
British defenses collapsed as the New Romans surged forward in just one the New Romans had
crushed the British air force, tank, and artillery forces and were closing in on the capital of
London.
The British surviving infantry and vehicle assault units attempted to block and halt the
advancing New Romans. The war was backfiring. The four nations USA, Russia, China, and
Britannia were almost done. With Britannia left this war would be over soon.

THE WAR COMES TO A CLOSE WITH BLOOD AND FIRE
Britannia was left to hold on in the war, with their army crushed and with only infantry they
couldnt handle the New Romans. The New Roman field marshal Gaius Suetonius Vespasian
had planned perfectly with his naval, artillery, air, and number superiority he knew that the
enemy would be unable to fight back. With this he sent cavalry and artillery forces to attack
London, and the rest to burn local fields and capture roads in and out of the capital. The British
army attempted to use armored vehicles with machine guns and their light machine guns to
combat the New Romans.
The New Romans had set up a siege camp around London, their cam encompassed all the
way around the city. The camp was really a large fence connected by four small camps. As the
last of the British forces attempted to assault the New Roman siege works, they were met with a
fierce artillery, archery, cavalry, and infantry counter crushing the last of them. Then the New
Romans launched their full assault on the city, artillery firing from all four angles.
The archers atop the high walls of the New Roman siege works fired down on the scattered
male civilians attempting to open fire at the New Romans. The archers being very swift and
cunning fired in-between the artillery blasts. The New Roman cavalry and light infantry charged
into the city at midnight massacring half of the north side before local police and armed citizens
forced the lightly armored and armed forces to flee, by 4 AM the next the east side of London
was ablaze and all inhabitants dead and the north side had suffered a massacre. The New Roman
artillery and archer attacks began again at 5 AM, this time well targeting the south and west side.
The targets were bunkers, hospitals, watch stations, and food and water caches.

BRITANNIA FALLS WITH FIRE, BLOOD, AND GOLD
The attacks of the New Roman artillery and archers hit their marks perfectly, crushing the
west and south sides of Londons defenses. As the New Roman infantry and cavalry charged into
the city, they were met by male citizens attempting to attack with anything in reach any time a
lethal object was shown the cavalry or infantry slaughtered the person. The New Roman cavalry
and infantry quickly enveloped the center if London and the presidents last safe house. The siege
works quickly were brought to surround the center while any male left outside the center were
captured or killed, the full power of the New Romans ensured that either the British president
surrenders or will be killed.
As the siege went on the New Romans raided buildings finding a large assortment of gold
close to 7 million US dollars worth of 24k gold. Field Marshal Suetonius quickly ordered the
British president come out and surrender, the response was a .45 caliber handgun round fired
from the 2
nd
floor. The New Roman Field marshal ordered his men charge and raid the safe
house. Within 10 minutes the British president was hauled out in handcuffs and was transported
to the New Roman ships.
The Emperor sent orders that all forces excluding legions 100 through 150 of navy, artillery,
archer, infantry, and cavalry return from Britannia to their original deployment centers. The
Emperor also ordered that Field Marshal Suetonius become provincial Emperor of Britannia.
With this all the rest of the New Roman legions 150 through 200 of artillery, infantry, cavalry,
archer, navy, and aircrafts return home with the gold and the Britannian president. As soon as
they arrived the Emperor ordered the British president be locked up in the dungeons.

THE PRISONER AND THE PURE CONTROL
By the time all the forces returned to their original homes, it was noon on April 3, 2040.
The Emperor walked down to the dungeon to visit his prisoner, the British prisoner was chained
and guarded perfectly fed well but not treated like he used to be. The Emperor ordered the
British president to sign a surrender pact at the next UN meeting being held on the neutral island
off the coast of Iceland. The Emperor walked out after this, as he returned to his palace he visited
civilians and other persons on the path.
As he walked in he was escorted to the war room, there his top Generals alerted him to 5
uninhabited islands located not too far from the original New Roman islands. The most
important thing about these islands a one was very fertile soil, two were gold and silver mines,

had a bellmeta mine, and the 5

was a great island for forging and natural defense line.
The Generals alerted the Emperor that the United African Nations and Mexico both had been
making plans to invade and take these islands. The Emperor moved first capturing the 5 islands
and named them Vulcanus the forge island (named after Vulcan god of fire and forges), Cereuses
the farm island (named of Ceres goddess of agriculture), the mine islands named Mercurius and
Abuntria the gold and silver mine islands (named after Mercury god of finance and commerce
and named after Abundantia goddess of Abundance and prosperity), and the bellmeta mine
island was named Marsis (named after the god of war mars).

During this period of peaceful times for New Rome the Emperor did some power reforms, to
begin with he added new palace council members including: the official imperial record and

chief of military defense (when all other military leaders are away) Quintus Fabius Maximus
Cunctator, construction leader Lucius Cornelius Balbus, chief priest and priestess Marcus
Claudius Marcellus and Lupa Julia, chief enemy strategists Romulus and Remus Ultor, chief
diplomatic advisor Flavius Aetius, chief of military training Marius Narses, chief medical trainer
the demigod son of Apollo: Aesculapius the original roman minor god of medicine and health.
With these palace council members the Emperoralso dealt with military leaders, infantry leader
was General Gaius Julius Caesar, cavalry leader Titus Flavius Vespasianus aka Titus Vespasian,
naval leader Publius Cornelius Scipio, artillery leader Gaius Lucius Scorpio, and the new post
the New Roman air force leader Marcus Scipio Sulla. These reforms allowed New Rome to
thrive even if the Emperor and the other great military leaders are away. The Emperor knew the
chances of another major war as the other 4 great super powers belonged to New Rome.
For the next 2 weeks the Emperor of New Rome continued his work and time with his people
and family. Finally on April 17, 2040 the UN meeting began. The Emperor sailed to the island
and left his 12 escort and battle ships to provide a guarded front his flag ship he and the British
leader were on was docked his 10

archer, cavalry and infantry legions were with him on this
trip. The Emperor walked into the UN meeting armed with his Pugio, Gladius, armor, shield,
bow and arrows, pilum, and two New Greek fire grenades.

THE FLAME OF REGRET
The Emperor of New Rome had forced the British leader to sign a full surrender pact. This was
of major importance being that it signaled that one super power had conquered four other super
powers this was a shocking fact. The Emperor thoroughly enjoyed this attention and fact, as he
walked out after the British leader had surrender, he ordered that the leader be put to the sword
and so it was done there in front of the UN the British president was executed. Now the UNs
strongest nations were Japan, Italy, the United Muslim Islamic coalition (UMIC), Israeli,
Canada, Mexico, the United South American Nations (USAN), the United African Nations
(UAN), and India.
The Emperor rode to the coast of the island and bordered his ship and with his naval forces
leading, following, and flanking his vessel he sailed back to New Rome. As the Emperor rode
back into the heart of his massive empire he was met by his advisors, Archimedes, Daedalus,
Marcus Scipio Sulla, and Romulus and Remus Ultor. The Emperor heard that the rest of the
western hemisphere planned to attack New Rome. This would be a massive thing since with
Mexico and Canada leading the pack then 2 more super powers would fall and all the western
hemisphere would be under New Romes control.
With this the Emperor ordered all provinces begin recruitment of fresh troops and to send
veteran troops to New Rome to begin preparations for battle. The Emperor ordered his 11

strike
legions to conduct missions in the USAN, Mexico, and Canada. This was going to be a massive
war and the Emperor needed new weapons. His inventors began the design and creation of them,
these would be the key to a quick and easy victory.

THE INVENTIONS AND PLANS FOR THE WEST
One of the weapons a bell-ballista quadrirotis this powerful weapon was a fully functional
tank like ballista with two ballista bows on top of a turret that would fire when fully cranked the
genius of this weapon is it cranks the more it is moved the wire that pulls the windlass is attached
to the wheels then being that it was attached to the fully armored cavalry legions meant it was a
impervious killing machine. The second lethal invention was the bell-polybolos this could be
placed on the tank ballista to provide a clip magazine fed fully auto lethal weapons also being
placed in and on forts and walls meant this weapon had multiple places in the New Roman
military. The Emperor for the first time ever ordered slave like labor from all provinces and
newly recruited troops from the provinces to build these in mass numbers, he also ordered his
chief military trainer to begin training 10 new heavy cavalry legions immediately to ensure they
were fully prepared for the war. Within just 1 month the Emperor had 10 heavy cavalry legions
10 bell-ballista quadrirotis and 20 bell-polybolos legions in total 100,000+ of these lethal new
machines.
Thanks to this the Emperor decided that he was ready to begin the attack he decided taking
Canada and Mexico would mean a massive victory. The US New Roman province was perfect
staging ground he used Britannia and Gaul to attack Canada from the sea and used the US
provinces legions and recruits to move north and attack Canada. Meanwhile he and his full now
totaling 9 million man Cavalry, archer, artillery, infantry, naval, marine, and air force legions to
attack Mexico in a massively overwhelming attack from air, sea, and land. This attack was well
placed within hours Canada surrendered from the blind-sided attack, the Emperor decided then to
pour all his US province forces into Mexico to boost his already massive numbers.

THE FLAMES AND CRIES OF THE MISTAKEN
The Emperor ordered all other provincial troops of his to attack the USAN, this would be the
end of the war. With Mexico already suffering heavy loses, and New Rome suffering none. The
weapons the Emperor had gotten made were helping end all enemy forces, as the Mexican
military attempted to shoot and fight the New Roman attack forces they were met with the Tank
ballista and the bell-polybolos crushing their forces instantly. Entering the 2
nd
day of this war the
Emperor had Mexico on the verge of defeat, the Emperor ordered that all Mexican men in every
village be eradicated, and this order was carried out sending a strong message to the Mexican
president to surrender.
The Mexican president surrendered immediately fearing more bloodshed, the Emperor
ordered that he walk out and be willing to be captured. The Mexican president road on horseback
to the New Roman camp to surrender, his guards that followed behind were cut down by the elite

archer legion. The Emperor greeted him with open swords knowing that this surrender was
important. The Mexican president signed the surrender treaty, then the Emperor executed him.
Now the Emperor planned the next part of this war carefully, the Emperor had already
managed to overrun the southern tip of the USAN. This war was going to be quick, the Emperor
ordered all his forces march south and invade the USAN from the north. This was to be a smart
move, as the most of the enemy forces had been focused to the south of the nation. The New
Romans overran the Northern states of the new nation.

THE WAR CLOSES AND A NEW LIGHT SHINES
The Emperor quickly moved toward, the capital of the USAN, Brazil was under siege. The
Emperor had successfully surrounded the capital this war would be over soon, the Emperor
ordered they surrender or that they be slaughtered. The enemy launched an assault on the New
Roman military forces this ended badly. The Emperor used the new artillery weapons the bell-
polybolos and the bell-ballista quadrirotis and the older siege artillery weapons to assault the
walls this was slowly weakening the enemys defenses.
The enemy continued resisting the New Romans, this proved useless as the New Romans
launched bolts and New Greek fire bombs. The enemy lost mortars, machine guns, snipers, every
weapon. The New Romans had their enemies under siege their weapons had massacred the
enemy forces. The USAN finally surrendered, the morning of May 22, 2040 the day dedicated by
the Emperor to Vesta goddess of the roman state.
The Emperor now controlled all of the western hemisphere and most of the eastern
hemisphere, the world was at his mercy. As the emperor returned home he heard word that his
troops in his province of Vietnam had come under fire from the United Asian Coalition under the
command of Japan. This was the second time this group attacked New Roman troops in China
and Vietnam, this was what New Rome needed to capture the rest of the Asian area. The
Emperor ordered all troops in the provinces of the USA, China, Vietnam, and Russia to attack
Japan and Korea, in the meantime the other provinces in the Middle East and Africa were
ordered to conquer the enemy nations there. The Emperor prepared his full forces to invade the
United Asian Coalition.

THE WAR FOR THE WORLD!!
On the morning of June 1, 2040, the Emperor ordered all forces in the western hemisphere go
with his troops to invade the UAC. This would be a quick war being the Japan was already quick
to surrender, as artillery, infantry, artillery, archer, naval, aerial, and cavalry legions 100 through
200 landed in Japan the Emperor of Japan surrendered. The Emperor ordered the rest of his
forces charge into Korea and attack the weak nation, as they did the Chinese and Vietnamese
provincial forces attacked their neighbor Asian provinces. While this was going on the original
Romulus and Remus Ultor led the coalition forces of Greece, Spain, France, Germany, Somalia,
Egypt, and Britannia all attacked the remainder of the Middle East and Africa. This would prove
victorious the Middle East was wiped out within 2 weeks and Africa by the 1

of July.
Now with these nations wiped out the UAC was left, the group held out. The New Romans
still fought on, blood had been spilled in India, Korea, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia,
Philippines, Mongolia, Cambodia and Brunei. With Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal, Papua New
Guinea, and Taiwan holding out, the New Romans set fire to the woods and area of Taiwan. The
Emperor had successfully laid siege the UACs remaining countries. By July 17, 2040 the UAC
had surrendered to New Rome.

THE EUROPEANS BAND TOGETHER!
The European nations joined a coalition force with Italy to form a new super power, known as
United Italian States (UIS). This was a combined force of: Norway, Sweden, Finland, Ukraine,
Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Moldova, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Czech rep., Poland,
Netherlands, Denmark, Iceland, and Italy. This force was minor compared to the New Roman
Empire. The New Roman Empire owned 144 countries, with a population of 100+ billion.
The Emperor laughed at the thought of the UIS being his next enemy. He returned home to
New Rome, when he arrived he got word that people in the provinces of Germany and Britannia
were resisting the occupation forces. He ordered more troops march into these nations, sending
the Spaniard, Russian, and Greek province forces march sail toward Britannia and the French,
Turkish, Egyptian, and Vietnamese provincial recruits help the German forces. The Emperor set
sail toward an urgent meeting with the Vatican, the Pope feared that the UIS would attack the
city of Rome to provoke the New Romans and to capture important artifacts.
The Vatican had gained the full city of Rome in 2039 after that the Vatican had sided with
New Rome because of the ancient artifacts in Rome. The New Roman Emperor met with the
Pope, Pope Francis the 2
nd
. This meeting went well the Emperor gained all ancient Roman
artifacts, the Pope gained an ally. The Emperor left a detachment of 2 cohorts from his 10
th

cavalry, infantry, artillery, archer, and naval legions to ensure that if the Vatican was attacked
and over run the Pope and all other items and persons of the Vatican would be shuttled safely
away.
