I am familiar with market research and consulting performed for various companies. I obtained
my B.A. in Anthropology from Florida Atlantic Univ. focusing on cultural anthropology. I
attended field school in Salango, Ecuador were I completed an ethnographic field study over a
two-month period. While attending field school I learned the techniques, methods and research
used to conduct a successful ethnographic study. Over the past eight years, I have worked on
various ethnographic projects. In addition, I have worked in Archaeology labs. This involved
detailed research and analyses of artifacts as well as different methods of research to obtain and
organize different databases. I am accustomed to using many different methodologies to find
solutions to problems for clients. Working in the field of anthropology involved living abroad in
places such as Cambodia, Indonesia, Mexico, Costa Rica, etc… My work abroad provided a
cultural sensitivity that can only be gained by complete immersion in various cultures. I am
confident that I could apply my combination of knowledge in anthropology and experience as an
English teacher to be a beneficial member on your staff.
