Contract for Student Concert Attire

Please read thoroughly as you and your student are fully

responsible for all information included
During this school year, your student will be assigned a specific numbered uniform for concert attire. If,
due to budget issues, a uniform is not available, the student will be given specific guidelines for attire at
concerts. The following contract outlines those expectations and is required to be signed by both the
student and a parent/guardian before the student can wear the uniform to perform. Any lapse in the
meeting of expectations of this contract could result in a fee for repairs, replacement of the uniform on the
students Bookstore account, or the students inability to perform while out of uniform.
Expectations for Uniform Upkeep:
1. All hemming needs to be done by the student or an individual who sews. The student is
responsible to get this hemming done. The length of all hems is designed to increase the
unified appearance of the group. Hemming is to be done BY HAND no machines, glue,
or tape! Any uniform found to be damaged by the hemming process will be charged the
amount for a new uniform!
2. The choral uniform will not be altered in any way without Directors pre-approval.
These approved alterations will be completed by the director or select volunteers. Elastic grip
bands will be provided for female students if needed.
3. Cleaning the uniform is the students responsibility before turning it in. For students who wear
black dresses and robes, a dry cleaning receipt is required for full fulfillment of this contract.
Without a receipt it will be assumed the uniform was not cleaned and the student will be
charged a $50 cleaning fee. All uniforms are due back by the Friday before exams!
a. All uniforms from Enchanted and Knights Voices (guys included) will be expected to be
washed after every performance. Upon return, all uniforms will be inspected. If not
washed, the student will be charged a $50 cleaning fee.
b. Choral robes are not to be dry-cleaned, but simply turned in. They get dry-cleaned
every 5 years since no skin should be touching the gowns. A majority of the robes were
cleaned at the end of 2013 school year.

shorts full length dress pants.
