Application

Acoustic Louvre type AL is designed as an external louvre for air discharge or intake which provides for
protection against water ingress, and also to prevent noise breakout.

Technical Information

Construction
Horizontal blades with 45º incline, with a vertical pitch of 150 mm
Reverse bend at rear tip of each blade to prevent water ingress.

Breadth and Height available in multiples of 150mm.


Minimum size: 300 x 450mm
Maximum size 1800 x 2400mm

Standard depths:
a) 150mm (6 inches)
b) 300mm (12 inches)

Material
Aluminium construction:
Frame and Blades: Extruded Aluminium

Steel construction:
Frame and Blades: 1.0 mm thick galvanised sheet steel

Acoustic infill:
Standard - Faced fibreglass (32 kg/m3 Toughskin faced)
Optional - Faced rockwool
Protected from mechanical damage with perforated sheetmetal. Comply to Class O and resistant to erosion
up to 30m/s

Accessory:
Insect screen / Wire mesh (option) from Aluminium (or Stainless steel is optional) insect screen
