Parents / Guardians of Division 1, 2 and 3 students,

We are very fortunate that the Langley Gymnastics Foundation has chosen to sponsor our
students for a series of gymnastics lessons. All students from each of the three classes
selected will be able to participate in the program AT NO COST. The lessons include:
qualified instructors, insurance, transportation from the school to the Langley Events
Centre and back, snacks and a uniform.

Students will participate in a total of 15 - 40 minute lessons on Tuesdays with a district
school bus shuttling them back and forth. The lessons will begin on Tuesday, October 21
and continue each Tuesday until the end of January except for November 25, which is
one of our Collaboration mornings.

Teachers will be giving students educational activities to do on the bus so they are not
missing out on this educational time. An evaluation will be included in your childs first-
term PE mark. Your childs teacher will also be in attendance and in charge of
supervision.

Division 3 will leave the school every Tuesday morning at 10:00. They will be on the gym
floor from 10:20 11:00. From 11:00 11:20 they will go upstairs for a snack before
returning to school by bus. As the timeline is tight, please have your child come to
school dressed in their gymnastics uniform.

We require your permission for your child to participate in these gymnastics lessons.
Please return both the permission form below as well as the attached Liability Waiver form
for Langley Gymnastics. ALSO BE SURE TO SELECT THE T-SHIRT AND SHORT SIZE
on the waiver form.

Please return the two completed forms to your childs teacher by Fri., October 10.

I really feel that this is a valuable and unique opportunity and I am thrilled that our
students have this opportunity.

lessons will be provided by qualified instructors provided by Langley Gymnastics
Foundation and that school staff will be in attendance to assist in supervision.

I understand that transportation to and from the Langley Events Centre will be by school
bus.
