Physical Education This term we would focus on: - Games and sport- student participates and uses equipment in a variety of games and modified sports.
The Junior Stampede This year we are debuting the contribution in the Junior Stampede. Students is encouraged to participate, this event is designed for 5-years to 11years of ages with mud-filled obstacle courses especially designed for children, challenge is completed by choice and so children are not force to complete obstacles they are not comfortable with, there is also no time restrictions.
This event would encourage students problem solving, moving, active living and safe living outcomes of the syllabus. Parents are also encouraged to join to enjoy a full day of fun in the mud with their child. Entry fee is $30 for students and registration for parents are free of charge; however, there is a $6.60 personal accident insurance fee, As well as an $5 fee for a sausage sizzle lunch. The excess money would be donated to the heart foundation, CanTeen, and Hokoda Youth foundation. Registration would be done as a group through each class by 10 th of October; student would be hand out a letter on consent and participation to hand out.
This event promotes, problem solving encouraging students to analyses problem situations and identifies what needs to be done to achieve goals, the different obstacles enables students to actively engage student in such activities. Stampede also promotes active life styles in whih physical activity is participated regularly and contribution to physical activity programs. Lastly Stampede encourages safe living where students recognises emergency situations and to whom to seek help from. Therefore showing that this event encourages students learning as well as fun.

Days Schedule Bring application slips Ask parents End of term Culture Lesson/ day This year for end of term lesson/ day, we have chosen to do a culture themed show and tell. Within this class student are encouraged to incorporate the various culture and traditions of other student into dance, movement and activities. All students and parents are encouraged to be involved. Student can educate other students by showing them a traditional dance, sing a song, play a traditional instrument, show and tell a traditional item. Parents are welcome to join in the class to participate, enjoy the day, and lesson.
Cultural understanding is important for all students, this enabled students to develop growth and development in feelings and experience showing responsibilities as they grow. Students are also encouraged to use movement such as dance to show and portray cultural understanding. Through this students are able to develop interpersonal relationship such as recognition that families have common and different customs and behavioral values.
