Dialogue between President Obama (United States) and President Francois Hollande (France)

Obama: Hello Sir. I would like to go over some of the issues with ISIS that the United States is
dealing with at the moment. The terrorist group has decapitated two of our journalists and
posted videos of the action on social media. They dont look as though they are planning to stop
any time soon, but I do not want to give up on the strategies we are using at the moment, I
dont think it is necessary to start another world war fought in the Middle East to end this.
Hollande: Hello Mr. Obama. I understand your concern dealing with the crisis of the terrorist
group ISIS, they have also proceeded to take two Brit journalist as well. I believe it is necessary
for us to work together and do whatever we have to so that they do not become a large threat
to our nations.
Obama: I agree that is what we need to do. Ive proceeded to conduct around 150 airstrikes in
Iraq against the terrorist group. I have announced to the country we are building broad
international coalition.
Hollande: Although we do not want to make the list clear of what forty countries are
participating in the fight against ISIS, I think it is a great idea and have also sent my soldiers in to
fight against ISIS, we have used over 18,000 rounds of ammunition in the fight, and we will
continue until an end is put to these acts.
Obama: That is great to hear. On a new note, I would also like to talk about our deep trade and
economic relations with one another.
Hollande: You may proceed, Mr. President.
Obama: Well, we are each others largest trading partners, and our highest global profile
competition is between our aircraft industry. The United States Company being Boeing and
yours being Airbus. My main concern is that this competition will make our trade go tense, and I
want to assure this will never happen.
Hollande: I dont think we would be able to function as countries without the trade we do with
one another. On the topic of our air transportation, the competition has been there for a very
long time, and seems to be almost tradition that we keep doing so. I believe that it only
promotes each or nations to create some the most efficient and high tech transportation
available, and keeps our relationship with one another in check.
Obama: Thank you, Mr. Hollande. I would also like to speak on behalf of my country for how
grateful we are to have such friendly and active relationships with the French government. Since
the beginning of our war for independence, you have provided much assistance as an ally, and
have shared many of the same opinions on economic, political, and security issues.
Hollande: We are happy to have you as our ally as well, Mr. President. Us sitting down and
discussing our views on these key issues and concerns we have at the moment are, I believe, the
reason our relations have not impaired our close cooperation with one another. Have a great
rest of your day.
Obama: You as well Sir, goodbye.
