My name is Jherica Raposa and my main objective is to develop more knowledge and
qualications to prepare me for college.

EXPERI ENCE
I NTRODUCTI ON TO SPEECH, KAMEHAMEHA MI DDLE SCHOOL 2012- 2013
My speech career started in the 8th grade. Mr. Wade Inn introduced me to speech at
Kamehameha middle school and recommended me for Honors Public Forum of Debate.
HONORS PUBLI C FORUM OF DEBATE 2013- 2014
After being recommended for Honors Public Forum of Debate by my middle school
speech teacher I learned how to debate using researched information prior to the debate.
I also learned how to compete in a crossre with and without a partner. I lastly learned
how to compete in congress, by trying to pass a new bill.
HONORS I NTERPRETATI ON OF PUBLI C SPEAKI NG 2014
My Honors Public Forum of Debate teacher, Ms. Yee LeaDan recommended me for the
Honors Interpretation of Public Speaking. This class my peers and I have learned how to
conduct a speech about another one of our classmates. As well as creating and
performing a expository speech that we preformed in front the entire class. We will be
doing a debating activity, which includes a crossre between classmates.
KAMEHAMEHA SPEECH AND DEBATE TEAM 2014- 2015
I joined the Speech and Debate Team in the beginning of this year. We recently had our
annual Speech and Debate camp. At the camp our coaches taught us a lot of things about
each of the categories that speech and debate has to offer. However, the team coaches
organized games and activities that brought us closer as a team. On the Speech and
Debate I competed at the rst competition in Duo Interpretation and won a Superior.
