Globalization Issues

India

In India we have plenty of environmental issues. Some of the main environmental issues
are water pollution and deforestation due to the constant rising population. According to Jyoti K.
Parikh, The environmental problems which may arise in India, due to population growth,
increased industrial and agricultural activities, and depletion of natural resources in the next 25
years, are discussed here. Selected aspects of problems which require special attention are treated
with particular emphasis on rural situations. The present status of the various aspects of human
settlementsuch as quality of air, water, sanitation, health, and housingas well as aspects of
conservation of forests, soils, and wildlife, is outlined as far as possible in a quantitative
manner. The growing population is the main cause of all these problems within the
environment. These problems can be fixed by making a sewage plant to cause less water
pollution. trade with other countries to get water purifiers and construct more underground pipes
to distribute the water throughout the cities to people living there. The forests can be saved when
utilizing the trees and cutting out the trees from the ground. Re-plant smaller, less mature trees
to bring down the deforestation rates after the certain amount of trees is utilized. Littering can be
stopped easily. Just dont drop trash on the ground. Recycle cans and bottles so it can be put
away for later use, as in creating wood-plastic flooring and platform boards. This can make
things easier even for the deforestation because we are using less wood and recycling more
products.
In Our country, India, unemployment is somewhat bad. Our unemployment rate is 8.8%.
This can be fixed by allowing more jobs to open within the economy. The market will eventually
even out. There is also room for expansion within the country. Opening more jobs will create
another opportunity for one more person. Every job counts within the economy that is standing.
More businesses can create yet one more competition and another source of trade. People with
no job have a higher rate of living under the poverty line. Exactly 29.8% of the people living in
India are living below the poverty line because there needs to be more jobs available. 487.3
million people are employed within the country out of 1.252 billion. Thats pretty impressive but
there is always room for improvement. India is second for labor force rates in the whole world.
Its industrial production growth rates are 0.9% 152 out of the whole world. We could create a job
just by making a small business, like a street-side concession stand, or lemonade stand to start a
large business. McDonalds started out by a concession stand and ended up being a world known
fast food restaurant. The more jobs available the more jobs will be taken and the business cycle
will go with the flow of things. The more workers, the higher the productivity rate. More is
better.
