Koike Aronson's geared elevation headstock-tailstock positioners are

available with ratings from 2,500 to 240,000 pounds. These positioners
provide all the advantages of our standard headstock-tailstock units but may
be loaded low and raised to convenient working levels.
Elliptical weldments are mounted, raised and rotated in the fashion
of a lathe around the horizontal axis. This application is ideally suited for
longer vessels and consumes far less floor space than other types of
positioners.
Our design and construction address all the demands of the
industrial marketplace. AC variable speed drive motors are available with
optional ratings while safety disconnect switches and 115 volt control circuits
are standard equipment. NEMA 12 electricals, ground-blocks, and preloaded
taperd roller bearings are provided on every unit. Life-time lubrication and
sealed drive units will insure years of trouble free service.
Upon request, Koike Aronson will adapt any of their positioners to
perform specialized industrial functions.
