This warranty covers according to the model and country (see table below) as of the purchase
date, against any defect attributable to the materials quality or labor during manufacturing, under
the following conditions:
1. To make effective this warranty, you will have to call any of our Service Centers SERVIPLUS to the
phone numbers appearing in the directory where you could get parts, spare parts, supplies and
accessories.
2. The company is bound to repair and replace any faulty part of the product, at the clients address
and wi thout any charge f or the consumer by concept of l abor, spare parts and product
transportation expenses that could arise. SERVIPLUS technicians are trained and have all necessary
tools to make repairs at home, insuring the correct operation of the product.
Mabe guarantees availability of spare parts and supplies in the market for a 10 year period (only
applies to Colombia)
3. When our Serviplus technician goes to check the product, you shall show the product with the
warranty duly sealed by the store where purchase was made, or the invoice, receipt or voucher.
4. Repair period shall not exceed 30 days, as of the call reception at our Service Centers SERVIPLUS.
6. Warranty shall not be effective in the following cases:
If product has been used under conditions different from normal.
If product has not been operated according to use instructions provided.
If product has been altered or repair by non-authorized persons and/or repair shops
7. Limits of warranty. This warranty shall not be effective:
If product warranty policy duly signed, invoice, receipt or any other document proving the product
purchase date is not delivered.
If product is out of the warranty term granted by the manufacturer.
If product has been used for commercial purposes, service rendering or any other purpose different
from the strictly domestic use.
Damages in painting and appearance parts, when the product is outdoors.
Pieces breaking due to wrong handling.
Damages caused by voltage variations due to short circuit, accidental overcharges in the power
supply or overcharges due to electric discharges.
Damages due to usage of non-original parts.
Damages to the product caused by transportation, when such transportation is at the buyer
expenses.

A. Eleccin del lugar
Seleccione el rea para ubicar el refrigerador, debe ser
amplia y mantenerse limpia y sin humedad para evitar
problemas de oxidacin.
B. Colocacin
Considere las siguientes distancias mnimas para garantizar
una circulacin de aire adecuada, sobre todo si se va a
empotrar el producto: 5 cm en los lados, 10 cm en la parte
posterior, de 5 a 10 cm en la parte superior y asegrese
de contar con un contacto aterrizado.
Aljelo de elementos que generen calor como estufas, y
calentadores, o exponerlo a los rayos del sol, ya que
ocasionar que trabaje ms y sea menos eficiente,
incrementando el consumo de energa elctrica.
No lo recargue contra la pared.
De esta forma usted estar garantizando un correcto
desempeo del producto, impidiendo que los componentes
de su refrigerador toquen directamente las paredes o
muebles, evitando ruidos desagradables.
C. Instalacin
Es necesario que retire todo el material de empaque que
contiene y protegen su refrigerador, como: cintas, cartones,
bolsas de plstico y/o bloques de unicel (EPS).
Deje reposar el refrigerador de 6 a 8 hrs. antes de conectarlo
para que permita que repose el gas refrigerante y el aceite
del compresor.
Antes de conectar la clavija en el enchufe:
Limpie el interior de su refrigerador usando un trapo o
esponja suave y jabn neutro, o una solucin de bicarbonato
de sodio.
Para retirar la base inferior se necesitan 3 personas
D. Nivelacin
Para nivelar el refrigerador utilice los dos tornillos
niveladores, insrtelos
y ajstelos de manera que descansen firmemente sobre
el piso. La parte de enfrente deber quedar un poco ms
alta que la parte posterior dejando
ligeramente inclinado hacia atrs su refrigerador.
Para nivelarlo es necesario 2 personas, uno que incline la
unidad hacias atrs y la otra persona que mueva los tornillos.
Algunos modelos tienen tapas que cubren los tornillos
para colocacin ver pag 12 seccin de accesorios tapas
inferiores
IMPORTANTE
Conecte la clavija o enchufe a la corriente adecuada. Deje que funcione vaco y
cerrado, durante 4 horas antes de introducir los alimentos.
Evite abrir la puerta para que se alcance la temperatura deseada.
Si desea colocar su refrigerador en otro lugar, debe desconectarlo. Cuando ya este
ubicado en el sitio elegido, repita los pasos antes mencionados.

H) Light bulb change
Some models have illumination at the fresh food section and the freezer; other
models only have fresh food section illumination. To replace the light bulb, follow
these instructions:
1)Disconnect your refrigerator.
2)If necessary, withdraw the shelves and the meat drawer.
3) Withdraw the temperature control button, pushing it towards you (only for
models with internal control).
4)With your thumbs, pull the light bulb cover towards you by the bottom portion
and then slide it upwards.
5)Remove the light bulb turning it counterclockwise.
6) Replace the light bulb with another of the same electric characteristics and
dimensions than the previous one.
7)Put the light bulb cover by the superior portion, slide it downwards and then
push it by the bottom portion until attaching it.
8) Place the temperature control (only for internal control models), shelves and
meat drawer.
9)Connect your unit.
10) To change the light bulb of the freezer, slide it towards the bottom of the
freezer and then pull it towards you. To place it, follow the same instructions in
reverse order.

4) To unpack the cassette components, it is necessary
to push the C pin to the outside releasing it from
the cassette, knobs will easily slide. Repeat these
steps with the three Ice trays
5) Wash the components of the Ice Factory using
a smooth sponge with water and mild soap and
then dry it.
It is important not to use fibers or abrasive products
to wash it (specially your Ice trays)
For assembling:
Note: During cleaning, the cover of the Ice Factory could be released, to put it
back it is necessary that bottom rails of the cover are inside the holes of the
support, and then align the lateral rail of the cover with the lateral rail of the
support and press the cover against the support until listening to the assembling
click. The cassette must not be introduced until the cover is at place.
1) To assemble the cassette, introduce the A bolt in the O hole making sure B bolt
gets inside the R slot. Push the ice factory until the C pin is at place. Put the knob
making sure it is perfectly attached to the ice factory. Repeat these steps with the
three ice trays.
2) Take the Ice Factory and put it at your freezer door. Introduce the support
bottom rail in the left side of the rear slot of the freezer door.
3) Push the superior part of the Ice Factory until the support is inside the door
bottom part.
4) Slide your Ice Factory towards the right until reaching its original position.
5) Put shelves, the cassette and the ice drawer.
D) Travels and leavings
-During long absences, disconnect the socket from the plug.
-Leave your refrigerator clean and empty, including the ice factory

ventilation and avoid bad smelling concentration.
-For a short absence, your refrigerator could remain connected.
-Remember there is always a possibility of electric power failure while you are out

A. Cmo operar los controles de temperatura?
Las temperaturas internas de los compartimientos del congelador y el enfriador
p u e d e n s e r r e g u a d a s n d v d u a me n t e , p a r a a t e n d e r me | o r a s c o n d c o n e s d e
conservacin de los alimentos, logrando una ptima utilizacin de su producto.
L o s mo d e o s C u e n t a n c o n c o n t r o e s p a r a e ma n e | o d e a t e mp e r a t u r a , u n o p a r a
el congelador y otro para el enfriador.
El control del congelador con los niveles mximo, medio y
m n mo p e r m t e a | u s t a r e f u | o d e a r e f r o n t e r n a me n t e .
Y el control del enfriador permite nivelar la temperatura
del mismo entre los niveles 1(menos fro) y 9(ms fro).
Control de temperatura del enfriador
Para obtener la refrigeracin deseada se necesita buscar
a me | o r c o mb n a c n d e t e mp e r a t u r a s d e c o mp a r t me n t o
congelador y refrigerador. Siga las siguientes instrucciones:
1) Inicie la utilizacin de su producto manteniendo las
posiciones originales de la fbrica (posicin media en ambos
c o n t r o e s ) . D e | e e a p a r a t o f u n c o n a r p o r 6 h o r a s p a r a
que la temperatura se estabilice. Despus de este periodo
si usted necesita cambiar la temperatura rea|uste los
controles.
2) El control del enfriador posee graduaciones que varan
d e 1 ( me n o s f r o ) a 9 ( m s f r o ) . S e s n e c e s a r o , a | u s t e
este control y observe los alimentos por algunas horas. Si
u s t e d r e q u e r e , p o d r h a c e r n u e v o s a | u s t e s h a s t a q u e
obtenga el nivel de refrigeracin deseado.
3) El control del congelador posee graduaciones mxima,
media y mnima. Se refiere a la cantidad de aire fro que
ser lanzado al compartimento del refrigerador. Cuando
me n o r e s e f u | o d e a r e e n e c o n g e a d o r , m s r p d o e
enfriador llegar a la temperatura seleccionada.
Notas:
1) A temperatura ambiente, la cantidad de apertura de puertas influye en el rendimiento
de su producto, por lo tanto cuanto mayor es la temperatura ambiente y mayor la frecuencia
de apertura de puertas, mayor deber ser la graduacin del nivel de temperatura de su
enfriador.
2) No debe colocar alimentos en las salidas de aire fro provenientes del enfriador, permitiendo
que haya una adecuada circulacin de aire en el interior y evitar que determinados alimentos
se congelen.
3) Su control externo es capaz de detectar una falla en el sistema electrnico, la cual ser
indicada por la letra F. Cuando esto suceda porfavor llame a su centro de Servicio Autorizado.
4) La temperatura interior vara deacuerdo a la temperatura ambiente. En los meses de

B) General precautions
Do not touch the interior walls of the freezer with wet hands.
Avoid children to hang on doors and/or play near the refrigerator when the door
is open, they can be hurt, hit or trapped inside.
Avoid children hang on bins, these can break due to overweight.
C) Refrigerator cleaning
Always disconnect the plug from the socket of your refrigerator, before carrying
out any type of technical verification.
Never use toxic, abrasive products or fibers that can damage the surface of the
product.
Use a soft sponge or water-wet cloth with a neutral soap. Rinse and dry with a
clean and dry cloth. For cleaning the inside you can also use a solution of one
spoon of sodium bicarbonate with two liters of warm water.
Do not use fibers or sharp or pointed objects that can scratch the refrigerator,
interior shelves or bins.
To ease cleaning, some models have tempered glass shelves with spillproof
edges, this will prevent small liquid spillages from spreading all around your
refrigerator, before removing the glass it is recommended to soak the shelf in hot
water during 10 minutes, this way cleaning will be easier.
Dry the excess of water and press the back portion of the frame backwards
sliding the glass at the same time.
To clean the condenser use a brush, cloth or sponge to eliminate dust accumulated.
Try this at least every six months.
Stainless steel refrigerators have a protective film on doors to avoid stains, fingerprints.
To clean it, use a water-wet cloth and neutral soap.
Do not use other cleaning products because they can damage your stainless
steel.
1)Remove the door bins, the ice drawer and the cassette.
2) At the freezer door, slide your Ice Factory laterally towards the left side until
reaching the top.
3)Separate the upper part from the Ice Factory support taking the side portions
with both hands and pulling into your direction and removing it from the door.
Ice Factory cleaning
For an easy cleaning of your Ice Factory, it is recommended to unpack it as
follows:
1) Remove the door bins, the ice drawer and the
cassette.
2)At the freezer door, slide slowly your Ice Factory
towards your left side until stop.
3) Separate the superior part of the Ice Factory
support taking the lateral parts with both hands
and pull it towards you separating it from the door.

B) Funciones adicionales
Funcin de Vacaciones / Vacation
Le permitir ahorrar energa cuando salga de vacaciones (recomendable no mayor
de 15 das), en unas vacaciones de mayor tiempo mejor desconecte, limpie y deje
las puertas abiertas de su refrigerador

Funcin Turbo / Turbo
Esta acelera el tiempo de enfriamiento y congelamiento.
No se pueden activar al mismo tiempo vacaciones y turbo
Alarma / Alarm
Esta funcin le indica con una seal sonora cuando su puerta de enfriador permanece
abierta por ms de un minuto, el tiempo excesivo de apertura de puerta hace su
refrigerador menos eficiente y consumiendo ms energa.
Candado / Lock
Esta funcin bloquear su control exterior impidiendo que alguien ms cambie su
programacin.
Instrucciones de uso para el control LCD del refrigerador
ALARMA / ALARM: Indica con una animacin y sonido cuando la puerta
del enfriador permanece abierta por ms de un minuto. La funcin de
alarma se activa o desactiva oprimiendo el botn.
Usted podr advertir que la funcin est activada ya que en la pantalla
comenzar la animacin de alarma junto con una seal sonora, las cuales
no cesarn hasta que desactive la funcin o cierre la puerta.
VACACIONES/ VACATION : Esta funcin le permitir ahorrar energa
cuando salga de viaje (recomendable no mas a 15 das). La funcin vacation
se activa directamente oprimiendo el botn, se desactiva oprimiendo
nuevamente el botn o al abrir la puerta del enfriador por mas de 10
segundos. Usted podr advertir que la funcin est activada ya que en la
pantalla comenzar la animacin de vacation que no cesar hasta que
desactive la funcin.
NIVEL DE FRO / LEVEL: Esta funcin es para establecer el nivel de fro en
su refrigerador en un rango de 1 (menos fro) a 9 (ms fro).
Cada vez que presione el botn level, se desplegar el dgito subsecuente,
al llegar al 9 vuelve a empezar en 1. Si mantiene el botn presionado,
cambiar al siguiente nivel o dgito subsecuente hasta que deje de
presionarlo.
TURBO:Esta funcin acelera el tiempo de enfriamiento y por consiguiente,

CANDADO / LOCK: Esta funcin bloquear su display LCD
impidiendo que alguien ms cambie su programacin.
Para activar o desactivar, pulse simultneamente por 3 segundos
los botones de alarm y vacation. Usted podr advertir que la
funcin est activada ya que en la pantalla comenzar la
animacin con una llave la cual permanecer hasta que se
desactive la funcin, por lo que todas las funciones estarn
bloqueadas. Si presiona cualquier botn, empezar una animacin
y se escuchar un sonido indicando que los controles estn

C. Accesorios
Parrillas
Su refrigerador cuenta con parrillas de cristal templado en
enfriador y parrillas plsticas en el congelador.
Sus parrillas son multiposiciones, usted puede moverlas
segn sus necesidades.
La carga mxima para las parrillas de cristal es de 25 kg, la
carga mxima permitida para la parrilla del congelador es
de 20 kg.
En caso de que necesite retirar las parrillas:
1.Remueva cualquier alimento u objeto apoyado en ellos.
2.Sujete la parrilla con las dos manos por la parte frontal.
3.Levante ligeramente y desplcela hacia usted sin soltarla.
4.Para colocar la parrilla nuevamente pngala sobre el riel
deseado y empuje hasta que quede fija en su posicin.
5. Para cambiar las otras parrillas proceda de la misma
manera.
Cajones Legumbreros
Los cajones estn diseados para conservar frescas sus
frutas y verduras.
Para retirar los cajones:
1.Jale el cajn hasta el tope, levntelo ligeramente y vuelva
a jalar hasta que el cajn salga por completo.
2. Si desea sacar la tapa se recomienda primero sacar los
cajones, para sacar la tapa es necesario seguir las mismas
instrucciones que las parrillas.
Anaqueles
Los anaqueles varan dependiendo del modelo de su
refrigerador:
Anaquel deslizable
Anaquel con movilidad y gran versatilidad en la puerta del
compartimento de alimentos, usted puede almacenar todo
tipos de frascos o recipientes.

3. Operation and Use
A. Heating of areas near the freezer
Your refrigerator has a device that prevents condensation.

F) Smart Fresh Technology
The system employed by your refrigerator is completely
automatic and intelligent, you do not need to defrost or
thaw your refrigerator, because it defrosts automatically.
(No Frost System).

The smart fresh technology insures the optimum
preservation of your food because it guarantees that cold
flows homogenously, being distributed all around your
refrigerator, since it has directed outlets by level and a
sensor that keeps the correct temperature and activates
the airflow inside the refrigerator when necessary.
It is important that airflow vents never be obstructed.
When opening your refrigerator door, it is normal that
shelves get steamed due to humidity entrance.
G) Ice factory
Some models have a device designed for the optimum ice making, the Ice Factory.
It is located at the freezers door providing a greater space in the inside to freeze
your food.
Note: When using the Ice Factory, it is very important that freezer bins are in
place.
Taking off
1-To get the ice cubes remove the drawer pulling it towards
you.
2. To fill in the ice trays, remove the cassette sliding it out
carefully.
Make sure to dry the excess of water at the bottom portion
of the cassette before putting it into your freezer.
Filling in

Dependiendo del modelo, su refrigerador puede ser provisto
de nuestro cajn Deli fresh. Este cajn puede ser ubicado
abajo de cualquier parrilla, recomendamos utilizarlo en
las primeras tres posiciones. Su cajn Deli fresh est
diseado para el almacenamiento de quesos, carnes fras,
embutidos y pizzas.
Canastilla de huevos
La canastilla de huevos puede ser guardada en los anaqueles
de la puerta o en cualquier lugar del refrigerador y es fcil
de usar por su prctica asa superior. Tiene capacidad
para 12 huevos y recomendamos colocarla en la primera
parrilla.
Tapas inferiores
Usted cuenta con dos tapas inferiores, para colocarlas
siga las siguientes instrucciones.
1)Abrir la puerta del refrigerador.
2)Colocar la tapa izquierda (ver figura 1 y 2) hasta topar.
3)Fijar la pestaa de la tapa (ver figura 3) en el tornillo del

D) Humidity Control
Some models are provided with humidity control in the vegetable drawer. Some
foods such as fruits and vegetables, when kept in direct contact with a cool and
dry environment, become dehydrated. The vegetable drawer keeps the correct
temperature and humidity for the storing of such foods, preserving their natural
characteristics. The adequate usage of the humidity control allows the regulation
of the airflow to the inside of the drawer according to your needs.
It is advisable to keep the control closed to preserve
green leaf vegetables and opened to preserve fruits.
To avoid food dehydration it is advisable to cover or leave
foods in their bags.
E Usage Recommendations
It is recommended to store food within containers with lids or packed or using
materials that allow keeping food sealed, such as plastic or waterproof wrapping.
Do not put hot food in the fresh food comparment or the freezer, you must wait
until food reaches an environmental temperature or slightly hotter.
Try to open doors only during the time necessary to put or withdraw food or
beverages. This way you will reduce the consumption of energy and will improve
the performance of your refrigerator.
Sometimes if you just closed the door and you need to open it again, it can
present a little difficulty which is a normal condition due to the vacuum created in
the inside of the refrigerator because of the air exchange at different temperatures,

Dairy bin

sense.
Deli fresh Drawer
Depending on the model, your refrigerator can be provided
with our Deli Fresh drawer. This drawer can be located

Egg canister
The egg canister can be kept in the door bins or any other

Screw Covers
You have two covers, follow the instructions to put them
in your refrigerator.
1)Open the Fresh Food door.
2)To place the left cover (see figure 1 and 2) and run until
top.
3)Fix the arm of the cover (see figure 3) with the screw of
the refrigerator.
4) To place the right cover (see figure 4 and 5) and run
until top.
5)Fix the arm of the cover (see figure 6) with the screw of
the refrigerator.

D) Control de Humedad
Algunos modelos cuentan con control de humedad en el cajn de legumbres.
Ciertos alimentos como frutas y verduras, cuando estn almacenados en contacto
directo con el ambiente fro y seco, se deshidratan. El cajn de legumbres mantiene
la temperatura y humedad adecuada para el almacenamiento de dichos alimentos,
conservando sus caractersticas naturales. El uso adecuado del control de humedad
permite regular el paso de aire hacia el interior del cajn de acuerdo a sus necesidades.
Es recomendable mantener el control cerrado para
conservar los vegetales de hojas verdes y abierto para la
conservacin de frutas.
Para evitar la deshidratacion de los alimentos es
recomendable taparlos o dejarlos en sus bolsas.
E) Recomendaciones de uso
Se recomienda guardar los alimentos en recipientes con tapas, empacados o
utilizando materiales que permitan mantenerlos sellados, tales como envoltura
plstica o envolturas impermeables.
No coloque alimentos calientes en el enfriador o el congelador, deber esperar
a que lleguen a la temperatura ambiente o ligeramente ms calientes.
Procure abrir las puertas solamente el tiempo necesario para colocar o retirar
alimentos o bebidas. De esta forma usted estar reduciendo el consumo de energa
y mejorando el rendimiento de su refrigerador.
Algunas veces si usted acaba de cerrar la puerta y requiere abrirla nuevamente,
sta puede presentar algo de dificultad lo cual es una condicin normal debido
al vaco que se forma en el interior del refrigerador por el intercambio de aire a
diferentes temperaturas, espere de 10 a 15 segundos y las puertas abrirn con
facilidad nuevamente.
Guarde siempre la cebolla dentro de una bolsa de plstico o recipiente hermtico
para evitar que su olor contamine.
No guarde ajo dentro del refrigerador, el fro y la obscuridad promueven la
germinacin.
Al almacenar los alimentos en el congelador, prepare pequeas porciones y
colquelas de tal modo que permita la circulacin de aire alrededor de ellas, esto

C. Accesorios
Shelves
Your refrigerator has tempered glass shelves in the fresh
food comparment and plastic shelves in the freezer.
Your shelves are multi-positioning; you can move them
according to your needs.
The maximum load for glass shelves is 25 kg, the maximum
load allowed for freezer shelves is 20 kg.
In case you need to remove shelves:
1.Remove any food or object on them.
2.Take the shelf by the front with both hands.
3. Lift the shelf slightly and slide it towards you without
releasing the same.
4.To put the shelf in place again, put it on the rib you wish
and push the shelf until reaching the right position.
5.To change the other shelves, follow the same steps.
Vegetable Drawers
Drawers are designed to keep your fruits and vegetables
fresh.
To remove drawers:
1.Pull the drawer to the stop, lift it slightly and pull it again
until the drawer is completely out.
If you wish to remove the vegetable cover, it is
recommended to remove the drawers first , in order to
remove the cover it is necessary to follow the same steps
than for shelves.
Bins
Bins vary depending on the model of your refrigerator:
Sliding bin
Movable and quite versatile bin in the door of the fresh
food section, you can store all type of bottles or containers.
This bin slides horizontally on the tracks that are located
in the inner door.

Desmoldar

temperatura y alta humedad en el ambiente, pudiera llegar
a formarse una ligera condensacin. Seque con un trapo.

B) Precauciones generales
No toque las paredes interiores del congelador con las manos mojadas.
Evite que los ni os se cuelguen de las puertas y/o jueguen cerca del refrigerador
cuando tengala puerta abierta, ya que pueden lastimarse, golpearse o quedar
atrapados.
Evite que los ni os se cuelguen de los anaqueles, estos se puede romper debido
al sobrepeso.
C) Limpieza del refrigerador
Siempre desconecte su refrigerador antes de cualquier revision tenica.
Nunca utilice productos txicos, abrasivos ni fibras que da en la superficie del
producto
Utilice una esponja suave o trapo humedecido en agua con un jabn neutro.
Enjuague y seque bien con un trapo limpio y seco. Tambin puede utilizarse para
limpiar el interior, una solucin de una cucharada de bicarbonato de sodio en dos
litros de agua tibia.
No utilice fibras ni objetos afilados o puntiagudos que puedan rayar el refrigerador,
las parrillas o los anaqueles interiores.
Para facilitar la limpieza, algunos modelos poseen parrillas de cristal templado
con bordes antiderrames, esto evitara que peque os derrames de l quidos ensucien
todo su refrigerador, se recomienda antes de quitar el vidrio remojar la parrilla en
agua caliente durante 10 minutos, asi ser m s sencilla la limpieza de la misma.
Seque el exceso de agua y presione hacia atras la parte posterior del marco,
deslizando el vidrio.
Para limpiar el condensador utilice un cepillo, trapo o esponja para eliminar el
polvo acumulado. Procure hacerlo por lo menos cada seis meses.
Los refrigeradores de acero inoxidable poseen una pelicula protectora antihuellas
en las puertas para evitar manchas y rayaduras. Para Limpiarlo utilice un trapo
humedecido con agua y jabon neutro.
No utilice otros productos de limpieza ya que da an su acero inoxidable.
Limpieza Ice Factory
Para una f cil limpieza de su Ice Factory, es recomendable desensamblarlo de la
siguiente manera:
1) Retire los anaqueles de la puerta, el cajn de
hielos y el cassette.
2) En la puerta del congelador, deslice su Ice Factory
lateralmente hacia su lado izquierdo hasta topar.
3) Separe la parte superior del soporte Ice Factory
tomando los laterales con ambas manos y jalela
hacia usted separ ndolo de la puerta.

B) Additional Functions
Vacations Function
It will give you an energy saving when being on vacations (no more than 15 days
advisable), during longer vacations it is better to disconnect it, clean it and leave

Turbo Functions
This function speeds up the cooling and freezing time. Vacations and turbo functions
can not be activated at the same time.
Alarm
This function will show, with a sound signal, when the fresh food section door stays

Lock

Instructions for external LCD Display

A. How to operate temperature controls?
Internal temperatures of freezer and fresh food compartments can be individually
regulated, to better assist food preservation conditions, getting an optimum usage
of your product. Models are provided with 2 controls for the temperature handling,
one for the freezer and another for the fresh food section.
The freezer control with maximum, medium and minimum
e v e s , a o ws t h e a d | u s t me n t o f t h e c o o a r f o w n t e r n a y .
And the fresh food section control allows the regulation of
the temperature between levels 1 (less cold) and 9 (coldest).
Temperature control
To obtain the desired cooling, it is necessary to look for

3) The freezer control has maximum, medium and minimum

Note:
1) At room temperature, the door opening gap influences your product performance,
so the higher the room temperature and greater the times you open the door, the
higher the temperature level in your fresh food section must be.
2) No food must be placed at the outlets of cool air coming from the fresh food
section, allowing an adequate airflow to the inside and avoid freezing of certain
products.
3) Your external control is able to detect a failure in the electronic system, which
will be indicated by letter F. When the above happens, please call at your Authorized
Service Center.
4) Inside temperature varies depending on the room temperature. During warm

Es importante no utilizar fibras o productos abrasivos
para lavarla ( especialmente sus hieleras)
Para ensamblar:
Nota : Durante la limpieza la cubierta del Ice Factory puedes soltarse, para
colocarla de nuevo en su lugar se requiere que las guas inferiores de la cubierta
entren en los orificios de la base del soporte, despus alinie la gua lateral de la
cubierta con el lateral del soporte y presione la cubierta con el soporte hasta que
escuche que ensambl. No debe introducir el cassette hasta que la cubierta est
en su lugar.

E) Mudanza
Si se requiere acostar la unidad para su transportacin, hgalo nicamente
hacia el costado izquierdo (viendo su refrigerador de frente).
Es necesario que antes de desplazar su refrigerador de lugar los tornillos niveladores
estn en en la posicin libre de contacto con el piso para que las ruedas puedan
realizar su funcin de desplazamiento.
Nota: despues de mover su refrigerador siga las instrucciones de instalacion para
que el gas refrigerante y el aceite del compresor se asienten.
F) Falla en el suministro de energia electrica
La mayora de las interrupciones en el suministro de energa elctrica son
corregidas en pocas horas. La temperatura interior no se afecta durante las
primeras 4 horas. Si la falla elctrica persiste por mas de 6 horas le sugerimos
que introduzca bolsas de hielo en ambos compartimentos para ayudar a la
conservacin de los alimentos
Evite abrir las puertas de su refrigerador.
Si usted nota que existen variaciones en el voltaje recomendamos apagar y/o
desconectar su refrigerador hasta que el voltaje se normalice. Usted notara que
existen variaciones si sus focos suben o bajan su intensidad de luz.
Si su modelo cuenta con funcin de Turbo y Vacaciones, en una falla elctrica,
estas sern regresadas a su estado de no activacin (indicador de funciones
apagado). No hay ninguna afectacin de su refrigerador al restablecer la energa
elctrica.
G). Ruidos considerados normales
Algunos ruidos son considerados propios del funcionamiento del refrigerador.
A continuacin, presentamos la descripcin de los ruidos caractersticos del
funcionamiento.
- Crujidos:
Se escuchan cuando el hielo se rompe. Es el mismo ruido que ocurre cuando las
charolas de hielo son retiradas del congelador y expuestas a la temperatura
ambiente.
- Ruidos del compresor:
Caracterstico de motor. Significa que el compresor est en funcionamiento.
- Ruidos de expansin de gas:
Es un ruido semejante al generado cuando el agua hierve.
- Ruidos del sistema de enfriamiento:
Caracterstico de ventilador, que muestra que el sistema est en funcionamiento.
Se escucha comnmente cuando se cierra la puerta.

Minimum requirements for the correct electric installation:
Characteristics: 115 ~, 60 Hz for residential use. Preferably supplied with a general
switch and balanced independent circuits protected by a strip fuse and/or
thermomagnetic chip from 15 to 20 amps maximum.
Connect your refrigerator to the closest socket; try to
avoid electric extensions and /or joining inappropriate cables
for the energization of your refrigerator. If for any reason
you need to use an electric extension, consult a specialized
technician to get the correct information about the type
and characteristics of the extension that can be used with
all safety.
Avoid, as much as possible, connecting other electric
appliances to the same socket you are using for your
refrigerator while in functioning, this will prevent voltage
variations and heating therein.
To connect and disconnect your refrigerator, take the
current cable by the plug and pull, never pull the cable.
If your electric installation does not have this type of
socket, get one, it must be installed by a qualified technician.
If not so, ANY PERSONAL AND/OR MATERIAL RISK THE
PRODUCT COULD CAUSE IS THE CLIENTS ENTIRE
RESPONSIBILITY.
If you live in a zone where there are nominal voltage
variations, do not connect your refrigerator to the socket.
Install an automatic voltage regulator with a minimum
power of 500 Watts and a minimum current of 100 amps.
Make sure the regulator supports voltage variations of
your zone.
Ask to a qualified electrician to verify the wall socket
and the circuit to make sure the outlet is duly ground
connected.
If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced
by a technician of the Authorized Service Centers, to
avoid accident risks.
Use of Extension Cords; because of potencial hazards
under certain conditions, we strongly recommend against
the use of an extension cord. However, if you still elect
to use an extension cord, it is absolutely necessary that it
be UL listed 3-wire grounding type plug and outlet and
that the electrical rating of the cord be 15 Amperes
(minimum) and 120 Volts.
Your refrigerator is provided with a power cord with 3 ends (ground), for your
safety, do not fail to make the connection thereof, if you have any doubts about
how to make it, call a qualified electrician.

A. Place selection
Select a place to put the refrigerator, it must be spacious
and must be kept cleaned and without humidity to prevent
rusting problems.
B. Positioning
Consider the following minimum distances to guarantee
a correct air circulation, especially if it will be a built-in
product: 5cm on sides, 10 cm on back, from 5 to 10 cm on
top and make sure you have a ground contact.
Move it away from heat-generating elements like stoves
or heaters, do not expose your refrigerator to the suns
rays, this could cause overwork and thus less efficiency
increasing the electric power consumption.
Do not lean it against the wall.
Making the above you will guarantee a correct
performance of the product, preventing your refrigerator
components from directly touching the walls or furniture
avoiding unpleasant noises.
C. Installation
It is necessary to remove the packing material protecting
your refrigerator such as: tapes, cardboards, plastic bags
and/or foam blocks. Move this material away from children.
Let your refrigerator rest from 6 to 8 hours before
connecting it to allow the settling of the refrigerant and
compressor oil.
Before putting the plug into the socket:
Clean the inside of the refrigerator using a soft cloth or
sponge and neutral soap, or a sodium bicarbonate solution.
To withdraw the interior base, 3 persons are necessary.
D. Leveling
To level the refrigerator, use the two leveling screws,
insert and adjust the screws to firmly lie over the floor. The
front portion shall be a little bit higher than the rear portion
leaving your refrigerator slightly sloped backwards.
To level your refrigerator, 2 persons are necessary, one
person to slope the unit backwards and another person to
move the screws.
Some models have covers that hide leveling screws, for
their positioning review page 30 section Accesories screw
covers .
IMPORTANT
Connect the plug or socket to the proper current. Leave your refrigerator to
function empty and closed during 4 hours before putting food into it.
Avoid opening the door in order to reach the expected temperature.
If you wish to move your refrigerator to another place, you must disconnect it.
Once located at the correct place, repeat the steps above mentioned.

H) Cambio de foco
Algunos modelos poseen iluminacin en el enfriador y el congelador, otros slo
poseen iluminacin en el enfriador. Para reemplazar el foco, siga las siguientes
instrucciones:
1)Desconecte su refrigerador.
2)Si es necesario, retire las parrillas y el cajn de carnes.
3)Retire el botn del control de temperatura, empujndo en su direccin (solamente
para los modelos con control interno).
4)Con sus pulgares, jale la cubierta foco hacia usted por la parte de abajo y luego
deslcela hacia arriba.
5)Retire la lmpara girando en el sentido anti-horario.
6) Sustituya la lmpara con otra de las mismas caractersticas elctricas y
dimensiones que la anterior.
7) Coloque la cubierta foco por la parte superior, deslcela hacia abajo y luego
empuje la parte inferior hasta que quede fija.
8) Coloque el control de temperatura (solamente para los modelos con control
interno), sus parrillas y su cajn de carnes.
9)Conecte su unidad.
10)Para cambiar la lmpara del congelador deslicela lateralmente hacia el fondo
del congelador y luego jlela hacia usted. Para colocarla, siga estas instrucciones
a la inversa.

2. La empresa se compromete a reparar o reemplazar cualquier parte del producto encontrada con falla, en el
domicilio del cliente y sin ningn cargo para el consumidor por concepto de mano de obra, refacciones y gastos de
transportacin del producto que pudieran generarse. Los tcnicos de SERVIPLUS estn capacitados y cuentan con
las herramientas necesarias para hacer las reparaciones a domicilio, asegurndose de que el producto funcione
correctamente.

3. Cuando nuestro tcnico de Serviplus asista a revisar el producto, se deber presentar el producto con la pliza de

4. El tiempo de reparacin no exceder de 30 das, contados a partir de la recepcin de la llamada en nuestros
Centros de Servicio SERVIPLUS.
6. La garanta no podr hacerse efectiva en los siguientes casos:
Si el producto ha sido usado en condiciones distintas de las normales.
Si no ha sido operado de acuerdo con el instructivo de uso proporcionado en idioma espaol.
Si el producto ha sido alterado o reparado por personas y/o talleres de servicio no autorizados.
7. Limitaciones de la Garanta. Esta Garanta no ser vlida:
Si no presenta la pliza de garanta debidamente sellada, factura, nota, o algn otro documento que acredite la
fecha de compra del producto.
Si el producto se encuentra fuera del periodo de garanta otorgado por el fabricante.
Si ha sido utilizado con fines comerciales, de prestacin de servicios o cualquier otro propsito que no sea
