After School Theater Program

The Highcrest PTO is pleased to once again offer students the opportunity to work with professional
teaching artists from The Hartford Stage. As in previous years, two programs will be offered:

This fall students in Grade 1 Grade 3* can enroll in the Intro to Drama class which will focus on the
foundations of acting: developing a character, practicing proper vocal and movement techniques and
strengthening concentration and focus skills. This 8 week program will prepare students for an ensemble
performance for family and friends to showcase their developing skills.

When: Wednesdays, 3:10 4:15 Rehearsal Dates: 10/15, 10/29, 11/5, 11/12
Where: Highcrest School 11/19, 12/3, 12/10, 12/17
Cost: $55 for 8 wk session Performance: December 17th at 4:15 p.m.

*3rd graders may also choose to audition for a role in the Spring Production with parents permission.

Please return completed registration form along with check for $55 payable to Highcrest PTO.
Mark envelope Hartford Stage Theater Program.
Class will be filled on a first come first served basis with a maximum of 20 students.
The minimum enrollment requirement is 15 students. If the program does not meet its minimum
enrollment by the registration deadline, the program may be cancelled with a full refund.
