prepare for the next days lesson. The average weekly assignment will take approximately
30 minutes to complete. Students can expect homework Monday through Thursday.
Additional time may be needed to complete projects or study for tests. Please keep in mind
that each student is an individual therefore may take less or more time to complete
assignments, depending on how they work. Students will be given their assignment
towards the end of the class period.

Student Responsibilities: Students are expected to enter the classroom calmly, follow the
directions on the board, and be in their assigned seats ready to start class at the time of the
bell. Students are to copy down assignments from the assignment board during class. Upon
receiving the assignment, students should review the directions to check for understanding
before leaving class. Students should have work completed by the start of class, the day it is
due. Students will turn in their homework at the beginning of class. If a student is tardy to
class, it is the students responsibility to hand in their homework within the first few
minutes upon entering class.

Attendance:
It is extremely important that your child is in school on time every day. Class work involves
many collaborative, hands-on activities. These kinds of assignments are hard to make up.
