***READ THI S BEFORE RUNNI NG THE ACTI ON***

1. Unzip/extract the file and put the .ATN file in a directory of your choice. It does not need to be in the Photoshop
directory, but to make them available from each tool's menu, they should be located in the folder "Actions" under "Presets".
Always keep a copy of your files.

WIN:

Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop X\Presets/Actions (where X is the version number for your version of
Photoshop)

MAC:

Applications\Adobe Photoshop X\Presets/Actions (where X is the version number for your version of Photoshop)

2. Open Photoshop and press "F9" (Option+F9 on Mac), or simply go to "Window > Actions" to open the Actions palette.
3. Click on the small triangle in the right upper corner or the Actions palette.
4. Select > "Load Actions" from the menu, then locate your .ATN and press "Load" (repeat this step if loading several
actions).
> OR <
Double click on the .ATN file. This should open and load the action automatically in your Photoshop.

***PLAY THE ACTI ON***
1. Click on the triangle next to the Action Set to expand it, then select the action you want to play.
2. With the action selected within the action set click "Play" button located at the bottom of the actions palette to run the
selected action, or if you see a function key (e.g. F1) on the right side of the action, just press it.
TIPS!!!
- You must have an image open and generally it must be "flat" or "Background" (not layered) for the actions to work
properly. Follow the instructions, if there are any.
- If you want to see all the steps in the action and learn something (actions are great learning tools), check the "step by
step" or "pause for XXX sec" on the playback options. Commands within an action can be also toggled on or off, giving you
the option to play each command or bypass recorded commands within the action during playback.

***HOW TO I NSTALL PRESETS*** If your action uses presets, read the information below
To load the preset files, go to Edit -> Preset Manager. By default, the Preset Manager displays preset brushes. In the Preset
Manager window, at the Preset Type dropdown menu, select the Preset you want to load (Brushes, Styles etc), then click
"Load" and choose the file you want to load.
