INDUSTRY ASSISTANT (1)

Job Summary
This person is expected to provide support to the Industry Specialists and Director of Business Development in specific
industry sectors. Work in this area will be in respect of identifying business and industry trends undertaking policy
implementation pro!ect evaluation and the conduct of research and analysis.
Main Duties
Undertakes research and analysis relative to achieving the goals of the targeted industry sectors.
Assists in the monitoring, implementation and evaluation of projects in specific industry sectors
Co-ordinates and organizes meetings, records minutes of meetings, and performs other administrative
functions
Provides input in support of the economic diversification strategy
Assists in the co-ordination of industry sectors activities in the context of the ider activities of trade
related agencies and other pu!lic sector and para-statal agencies.
Assists in the successful delivery of training and seminar activities
Participates in various "inistry fora on industry and !usiness activities.
Required Qualii!ations and "#$erien!e
" Degree in #conomics Business or International $elations or any related discipline.
#xpertise in the conduct of research and economic and statistical analysis.
%&' years experience in any trade related area such as industrial or business development.
(amiliarity with the operations of the )TII or any other such relevant experience will be an asset
