How to install software in ubuntu

Type the software name and click search

example: vlc

Step 3:

Right click the software and select the option “Mark for installation”.

Note: sometimes all the required plugins will be marked automatically.

Step 4:

click Apply

Step 5:

click Apply
Step 6:

That's it....your software is installed.
