Chennai Commercial Taxes Divisions Re-organization and
formation of new Assessment Circles


The Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu had ordered
re-organization of the existing Divisions, Zones and
Assessment Circles in Commercial Taxes Department for the
benefit of public and effective administration. Accordingly, the
existing 89 Assessment Circles of Commercial Taxes
Department in Chennai region have been re-organized and
increased to 100 Assessment Circles. The newly formed
Assessment Circles will function from 01.09.2014.

The addresses of the newly formed and existing
Assessment Circle Office premises are uploaded in the
Departments website www.tnvat.gov.in.
