Godfrey Boyle is Emeritus Professor of Renewable Energy in the Department of Engineering and Innovation in the Open University's
Faculty of Mathematics, Computing, and Technology. He is editor and co-author of the widely adopted textbook "Renewable Energy:
Power for a Sustainable Future" (3rd Ed, Oxford, 2012). His main research interests are in renewable energy, particularly wind and solar
power, energy systems modeling and energy policy. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET) and of the
Royal Society of Arts ( FRSA)
