individuals and teams from ages 13 to 18.

Among the finalist this year is Mark Drobynch, a student in Uzhgorod, Ukraine.

Below is a synopsis of the bright youngsters project.

SCHOOL PRESENTATION MICROSCOPE WITH REMOTE CONTROL
The practical acquaintance of students with cells of animals and
plants, protozoa and bacteria is of great importance. This material is
remembered for a lifetime and can be the impetus to a further career
of scientist or researcher. I have built a school presentation
microscope with a remote control and with the help of a LEGO
Mindstorm constructor set. My solution has an interesting set of
properties, providing a comparative observation and study of living
organisms in their natural habitat. Good news: you can clone it if you
have LEGO Mindstorm.
