Tis type of reel is generally used for the storage and deployment of
2 in. diameter hose, either in single string form, or as a
combination of several strings bundled together and deployed as a
single umbilical. Te hose reel is auto-braking in the event of air
supply failure.
Note: Due to the fact that hose types are not self supporting, hose reels
have been designed purely for hose storage. Te use of a vessel or
platform based tugger is required during hose deployment and recovery.
