Summative Assessment Task: RAFT Comparative Exercise analysing The Hunger Games and The Lottery

Question: How do Jackson and Ross reinforce the prevalence of conformity in society throughout their texts?

Task: You can select to answer the question using one of the formats outlined in the RAFT below and you will be provided with a specific task card relating to your choice
which will assist you to answer your question successfully. In your response you will need to demonstrate your understanding of literary devices used by Jackson in The
Lottery and the cinematic techniques used by Ross in The Hunger Games. Remember to include specific examples and evidence from each source to support your
conclusions and enhance your ideas.

Word Count and Time Limit: If you chose a written format then this must be 750-1000 words in length and an oral presentation should run for 3-4 minutes.
