I am so glad you decided to take voice lessons with me. As a new student there are a few things you
should know that will make our time together more productive and fulfilling.
First ....what will we be working on together? Please bring your music with you and any CDs or tapes
you might have of the music. If you are not currently working on something please bring the music
book below. You can purchase it at Santa Barbara Sheet Music or on line. Be sure you get the book that
includes the CD. If it is unavailable, please ask the clerk at Santa Barbara Sheet Music to order one for
you. Below youll find the information you need to order the book at the store or online.
As a student in my studio you will be preparing for two recitals each year. One recital in Spring and the
other in Winter. You may also be participating in vocal competitions in and around Southern California.
For all studio events you will be required to pay a registration fee. In the case of competitions you will
responsible to provide your own transportation and cover your own expenses.
Voice lessons with me, range from $80 to $100 per hour. Your lesson will be $ _______________ per
hour. If I need to travel to your home for lessons, there will be an additional $10 fee added to your
voice lesson cost. I prefer that you pay for your lessons 4 weeks in advance. This commitment helps you
hit your vocal goals and gives you the time you need to really learn the techniques I will be teaching
