1: No! What are you doing?!
2: Whawhat? Why? Im just disposing my garb
1: IN THE RIVER?!
2: Yes. Why? Is there a problem with that? You look so terrified.
1: Yes. Your garbage will poison and kill the fishes! It will also pollute the river. And the waters from the river
go straight to the ocean, if the poison gets there, all of the fishes would die! What would you eat by then?!
1: Oh, yeah, sorry. II forgot about that.
2: Its okay. As long as next time, you make sure that you dont throw your garbage in the river. Dont forget it!
2: I wont, I promise.
Do not pollute the rivers, a friendly reminder from DENR.

Rebels bomb transmission tower in Maguindanao
Suspected rebels of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters, a breakaway faction of the Moro Islamic
Liberation Front (MILF), bombed a transmission tower of the National Grid Corporation in Maguindanao today,
causing a blackout in the province.
BIFF men detonated the improvised explosive device (IED) at the tower in Sultan Kudarat town at 3 a.m.
Monday, said Ramon Zagala, public affairs office chief of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
The explosion caused "massive brownout." But power has been restored by Monday noon, he said.
"We believe this act is anti-people, anti-peace process," Zagala said.
The BIFF is associated with Khilafa Islamiyah Mindanao, which is blamed for the July 26 bombing in Cagayan
de Oro City, also on Mindanao Island, that left nine people dead and many others injured.
