Dear Committee Members:
I discovered TeamBondings job advertisement on InternMatch. I am very excited to have the
opportunity to apply for your Social Media & Marketing intern.
I am currently attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where I am working on a B.S.B.A in
Marketing and a minor in Communication Studies. Through my coursework, I have learned to hone my
skills as a writer. I have also gained knowledge about advertising, marketing campaigns, and sales
techniques from my business classes.
While attending school, I also gained marketing experience through my internship. While working for a
Greensboro-based marketing company, I had a great deal of practice writing blogs, designing websites,
and developing new campaigns for our clients. During my two summers of working here, I had hands on
experience developing relationships with clients. I also attended video shoots where I learned about
filming equipment and video editing. This experience really showed me how working in a fast-paced
environment really is. It also reassured me that marketing is truly what I want to do in the future. In
addition to my internship, I am also part of Concerts & Causes, a club that plans music events on campus
that raise money for charities, at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Doing event promotion
and handing out flyers allowed me to advance my communication skills.
