Hastelloy C-276 is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy with excellent corrosion resistance, especially to pitting and crevice corrosion. It contains 55% nickel, 15-17% molybdenum, 14.5-16.5% chromium, 4-7% iron, and 3-4.5% tungsten. Hastelloy C-276 has a density of 8.89 g/cm3, a melting point of 1370°C, and maintains its strength and corrosion resistance from -200°C to 400°C.
