The Standard

All of your writing assignments in this class must meet the

below standard. If your assignments do not meet these
requirements points will be deducted from your grade.

Paragraphs (minus 2 points for each paragraph)
5-7 sentences at least
Sentence Structure (minus 1 point for each sentence)
Write in complete sentences
Sentences should express a complete thought
Grammar (minus 1/2 point for each mistake)
Use verb tenses appropriately and consistently such as
present, past, future
Use proper capitalization and punctuations
Correctly spell all words on the No Excuses list
Penmanship (minus 2 points)
Write fluidly and legibly in cursive or manuscript as
appropriate.
