Summary

My training, experience, and commitment enable me to enrich the learning experience of each student in my classroom
by creating a warm, supportive atmosphere which enhances personal development and addresses learning differences.
Guiding students to write expressively and to attain high levels of reading comprehension are at the forefront of student
advancement in the classroom, and I enjoy designing cross curricular units and using technology to lead students to
develop higher level thinking skills.

Achievements

Unit Development
Designed a hands-on executive functioning workshop geared toward building within students a skill set to
facilitate the personal organization, strengthen memorization, and improve time management techniques
needed to prepare for exams.
Created a bullying workshop highlighting the roles each individual involved in a bullying scenario plays for the
purpose of empowering victims and bystanders; thereby creating a safe and secure environment with
peaceful mechanisms in place for conflict resolution within the classroom.

Curriculum Design
Created dynamic and student involved Smartboard lessons in social studies using music, media
presentations, visual aides and games to reach all learners in the classroom.
Model Election Campaign program designed to offer a whole classroom experience teaching election process,
