Scholarship is one of Ferris State Universitys School of Nursing objective

outcomes upon exiting the nursing program. Scholarship for practice in nursing
can be described as enhanced teaching, research, and nursing practice through
many aspects of the nursing profession. he scholarship for practice is related to
the nursing profession because it allo!s us to learn and gro! as nurses from the
research in various studies that provides more educational teaching to our
patients. " have obtained the necessary #no!ledge in scholarship for nursing
practice from my research class, leadership class, and various assignments
throughout the nursing program.
$ithin this section, " have contained an advocacy letter and a student
scholarship certificate of attendance. he advocacy letter !as !ritten to the
director of the nursing program. he purpose of the letter !as to !rite the
director of nursing !ith an idea of a change or improvement to be implemented.

examined the benefits of my research in order to design a plan of action. he

projects. Senior nursing students presented their capstone projects !hich gave
