Optical Surfaces regularly supplies reference flats and mirrors world-wide.
Flats are often used as a reference or, to fold a system in order to make it
more compact, or to re-direct light at a desired direction.
The tables below can be used as a guide to our standard specifications
for parameters such as size, material, surface accuracy and quality,
microroughness, dimensional tolerances etc.
Interferograms and analysis are typically supplied for flats with surface
accuracy of lambda/4 P-V at 633nm or better. Slope errors are such to be
insignificant in Schlieren and Reference applications.
