DESCRIPTION Students of the eleventh grade in the Centro Educativo Dr. Ricardo Martinelli Pardini are the ones that participated in the project. They were asked to make a video about a province or comarca of Panama, consider the cultural elements. They also presented an oral report about their work. Moreover the videos will be used as part of their expositions during the English week. DURATION:
BEING DEVELOPED OR FINSISHED YEAR MONTH(S) FINISHED 2013 STUDENTS WHO ARE HAVING THIS EXPERIENCE:
26 students from eleventh grade of the Science Curriculum. They are non-native speakers of English Their level of English is low (beginners).
ORIGINS AND INSTITUTIONAL SITUATION THAT MOTIVATED THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROJECT This project has his origin in the search of creating new opportunities in which the students can promote their creative and analytical thinking skills. It will also integrate students in the use of TICs as part of the learning process.

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE EXPERIENCE
1. The students selected a classmate for developing the project
2. The team selected a topic (a specific province or comarca) 3. The searched for information on Internet and read some documents given by the teacher 4. They organized the information using a graphic organizer. 5. They got some images to illustrate the contextualized information. 6. They made their videos using Movie Maker. 7. They presented their videos and oral report.
HOW DID THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT IMPROVE WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS EXPERIENCE?
The students enjoyed developing their project because they could use their new computers. The video making helped them to realize that there are a variety of programs that can be used to make presentations more interactive. Another important consideration is that students collaborated among themselves; they exchanged information when having problems with the program.

Students helped each other when they were doing this project. They also applied their previous knowledge not only of English but also of ICT course. Moreover, they demonstrated their capacity for developing this kind of projects.
DESCRIBE THE MAIN CHANGES OBSERVED IN CLASS. 1. Students were eager to participate in class activities. 2. They exchanged information through the collaborative work. 3. They could apply previous knowledge and learned how to manage new programs. 4. They showed their interest in learning to use more programs that will be helpful for them.
EXPLAIN HOW THE PROJECT WAS SUPPORTED BY THE SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION.
The school principal planned the teachers participation in Entre Pares Training. For the implementation of the project, the ICT classroom was available but the Internet service did not work.
DESCRIBE THE PRESENT SITUATION OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS EXPERIENCE.
The information and orientations received in Entre Pares Part 2 Training helped to understand that nowadays classes need to be more interactive and activities must be planned considering how we as teachers can develop students competencies required in this century.
