Selection of appropriate texts was challenging. Looking at classic features of gothic fction was
enjoyable and students made connectiosn to various
other texts they had viewed or read. Themes common
to Gothic and other genres of literarture was regularly
discussed.
Art was a natural ft for looking at connections
between the disciplines.
Assessments tasks were reasonably broad and well
suite dfor students to be able to address all criteria.
Regular review of students understanding of the
features of the genre was useful in determining
student readiness for assessment tasks.
