ZONITH TETRA Analoge Gateway
Connect an analog radio channel with a TETRA talkgroup
The TETRA-Analog Gateway is a versatile and intelligent radio interface which can be used as a two-way analog-TETRA gateway
interface. By mounting the gateway with one TETRA radio and one analog radio the analog channel can be directly connected to a
TETRA radio talkgroup. This will enable users of conventional analog radios to speak with users of digital TETRA radios.

Gateway applications
Interconnection of an conventional analog channel with a TETRA talkgroup are usefull in the following situations:
During migration from analoge radio communication to digital TETRA communication.
When TETRA radio users need to speak with airband or maritime radios, i.e. on oil rigs and other offshore installations
Temporarily connect two types of users for example during an event (e.g. Police with event organiser).
Expanding coverage by connecting the analog radio users to the TETRA network




















The Gateway is delivered in its own housing and ready for connection to the radios. When more analoge channels and TETRA
talkgroups need to be interconnected the Gateway can be placed in a 19 system rack. The gateway interface has support for the
Motorola ETSI-AT interface.

Motorola MTM5400 TETRA radio (MR10.6.3).
Motorola MTM800 Enhanced TETRA radio (MR5.13 or higher required).
