In Boheringer Ingleheim, most of the lower

management(clerical) workforce consists of Sales Personnel,


Clerks in HR, Accounts departments etc
BI has put in place a program which is driven by HR
managers, which aims at improving the Computer efficiency
of the lower management(clerical) workforce.
Identifying the candidates across different departments
which require brushing up of skills in operating the MS office
s/w...(mainly MS-EXCEL & MS-WORD)
Depending upon the proficiency in using these softwares,
the target population(employees) are divided in different
groups, and accordingly are given specific trainings
The HR dept arranges for external experts to deliver the
workshop on the basic/ advanced/customised use of the MS
office softwares(especially word & excel)

Managing and driving
different HR initiatives

Admin Dept clerks
For managing the access
related information and
maintaining consistency
The workshops are held within the company premises and
typically for 2/3 days and 4 hours a day
The employees and their managers are consulted
before deciding the date and time of the training
