Legal and Ethical

Copyright is a law which gives the creators the right to not allow their material to be
used. I will not be breaking the law due to all of my work being all of my original and
my own ideas.
Discrimination
Discrimination is the law of which prevents or prejudicial treatment of different
categories of people, especially on the grounds of race, age, different ethicises or sex
which are victims of racial discrimination. I will not use any form of discrimination
within the website that I have produced.
Law of obscenity
Obscenity laws started through the Obscenity Publications Act in 1959. Obscenity is a
legal term that applies to anything offensive to morals. I will not use any material
classed as obscene due to potential target audiences morals and values. My website
will contain so obscenity.
Defamation
Defamation is the law of damage a persons name or good reputations, decreases
respect, regard or confidence in which a person is held. There are two types of
defamation which are Libel and Slander. Libel is mainly written statements whereas
Slander tends to be spoken statements. Due to this law, within my website I will
ensure that no form of defamation is used.
Trespass
Trespass is the act of illegally entering another person's property. In the United
Kingdom all land has an owner and if an individual enters that land without the
owner's permission, he is trespassing. I will not be breaking this law as I didnt have
to trespass to take the photographs which feature on my website.
Ethical
When taking into account peoples ethical values it is important to consider what
people may feel is right and wrong, therefore throughout my planning I have
carefully chosen the content to feature on my website.
