RESULTSPARAGRAPH
Ourresultsshowthatforourclass,andonlyforourclass,alloftheeggsweresuccessfulinthefirstfloor,
nomatterwhatthemasswas.Butifwetakealookatalloftheclassesingeneralwecanseethatthe
lighterstructuresweremoresuccessfulthattheheavieronesinthefirstfloor.Somepotentialerrorsthat
weremadeinthislabwere:themultiplecellphonetimers,becausetimerssometimesmaygoatdifferent
speeds.Anothermistakewouldbethatsomescientistswerereadyforthescientistdroppingtheprojectto
droptheirprojectandotherswerenotatthetime,sotheprojectwouldbedroppedandeitheritwasn't
filmedorthetimewasn'trecorded.
CONCLUSIONPARAGRAPH
Attheendofthelabourquestion:Doesthemassofastructureimpactitsabilitytosafelyprotect
afallingegg?wasansweredbythehypothesis:Ifthestructureshavedifferentmasses,thenthelighter
structurewillbesuccessful,becausetheywillhavelessmomentum.Thehypothesiswascorrect!!The
lighterstructuresdidsurvivebetterthantheheavierones.Somesolutionsthatcanbeusedtocorrectthe
mistakeswere:Forthefirstmistake,onlyuseonecellphonetimer.Forthesecondmistake,thelabgroup
willhavetomakesureeveryoneisreadybeforeaneggdropprojectisdropped.Achangethatcanbe
madetothelabfornexttimeistrytheprojectwithbadweathertoseewhathappens.
