May 12, 2014 Ms. Sara McIntainer Pottery Shed 1330 La Terre Ave. Pottsburg, Pottsylvania 50000
Dear Ms. McIntainer,
Greetings from Connect! Our company has dedicated the past week to creating the best design possible for your product. To ensure to you that we have met all of the qualifications that were highlighted in your Prospective Bidder letter, this letter addresses each of those concerns in relation to our container. Those qualifications are reliability, certification, design and price. To ensure the quality of our product, it is being shipped, by UPS, with three pots inside to Colorado and back to our company. After this journey, the container design will be extensively tested to ensure the integrity of the contents. The container has been designed to withstand normal humidity, Our company has employees certified in CS 2013 Quality Assurance Testing and Design Certification of Packaging and have received a Box Manufacturers Certificate. Copies of these certificates are attached. The attached design was created by our DCP certified design engineers, Connor Gidner and Anthony Rice. The corrugate rat trap buffer that lies within the inside of the pot acts similar to the crash-crumble method used to design the modern automobile. The buffer increases the time that force is being applied thus decreasing the actual force applied to the product. This buffer will absorb any force that is incidentally applied during delivery and shipping. This cost includes fees for material, employees and production. The production cost of 5000 containers is $6213.91, or $1.24 per box. The cost for the design is $4500.47. Thank you for your time and consideration. On behalf of Connect,
