Comments:
Lauren was innovative designing lessons that engaged students through multiple modes appealing to differences in
learning thus reaching multiple learners. She engaged students by bridging the then and now in history with current
events and connections to their prior and cultural knowledge. She was able to articulate instructions and ensured
that learning was accessible by developing structured yet interactive activities.

Lauren was attentive to developing and maintaining a safe classroom culture ensuring the safety of all students. She
addressed injustices or concerns respectfully and always used time to raise student's consciousness on different
issues, thus creating respect and expectations.

Comments:
Lauren's willingness and interest in learning more about her students demonstrated her full commitment to our
school. She volunteered and was an active participant in responsibilities beyond the classroom such as helping plan
and guide our annual student work exhibit.
