Hyperbook is an interactive media station, inspired by the MIT “NeverEnding Drawing Machine”, that turns a book into a support for different types of content unrelated to its paper nature.
Hyperbook was realized with the multipurpose toolkit vvvv [ vvvv.org/ ] by the students of the "Creative Coding and Video Music Course" of the Academy of Fine Arts, Urbino Italy.

HYPERBOOK / Concept Hyperbook is an interactive media station, inspired by the MIT NeverEnding Drawing Machine, that turns a book into a support for diferent types of content unrelated to its paper nature. Con lausilio di un linguaggio di programmazione ad oggetti (VVVV) si reso possibile un incontro tra un supporto analogico e dei media digitali. HYPERBOOK / Software An encounter between an analogic support and digital media was made possibile with the aid of an object based programming language (VVVV). Ogni pagina tracciata dallinstallazione (tramite lutilizzo di fducial markers) e quindi associata ad un contenuto esclusivo che potr essere consultato dallutente semplicemente sfogliando il libro. HYPERBOOK / Hardware Every page is tracked by the installation (by the use of fducial markers) and then associated with an exclusive content that can be viewed by the user simply browsing the book.
