Department : Accounts
Designation : Asst Manager Purchase & Store
Position Reports To : Financial Controller

Regular and Standard Tasks : As listed below.

This Job Description may be revised from time to time due to operational change.

1. Asst. Purchase Manager will supervise store keeper, he check duty allotted to store keeper are
properly handle.
2. In absence of store keeper Purchase Manager's duty to handle the responsibility of store keeper.
3. If any variances found in actual receipt & IDS entry store keeper & purchase manager will
responsible to answer.
4. Receive all goods purchased & brought for operations of the hotel.
5. Prepare related documents like Purchase Request, Purchase Orders etc.
6. Keep regular reports about stock levels to maintain par stocks.
7. Also maintain all stores records & books on daily basis quantity and value vise.
8. To keep records related to rate quotations on regular basis and conduct regular survey of market as
and when required.
9. Prepare monthly statements of all stocks in stores and check with physical balances.
10. To prepare and update from time to time the register meant for fixed assets of the hotel.
11. Conduct physical verification of stocks on regular basis and point out variances.
Purchase Manager must require to submit on daily basis following report to AC Supervisor & Financial Controller.
Variance report i.e. material issued less or more & reason for less material issued.

If any Material not available in store for more than three days which include store request
& department request items, he must provide report for the same.
