Bryan Police Arrest Two Robbers

On November 20, 2009, at 10:35am, the Bryan Police Department was dispatched to a robbery at Discount
Drink and Tobacco, located at 3819 East 29th Street. Two black males entered the business and one subject
was reported to have a pistol. The two subjects left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. The
subjects ran north on East 29th through the neighborhood and were seen by numerous witnesses. Witnesses
were able to direct police to the location of the two suspects. The possible suspects were located in 2000
block of Kazmeier. The possible suspects were contacted and identified. The Criminal Investigation
Division was called to the scene to investigate the robbery and interview victims, witnesses, and possible
suspects. The Crime Scene Investigators responded to the business to assist in processing the scene.
Evidence was recovered and the suspects were arrested for aggravated robbery.

Both were charged with Aggravated Robbery. Aggravated Robbery is a First Degree Felony and is
punishable by confinement for a term from 5 to 99 years in prison; and an optional fine not to exceed
$10,000.
