Caitlin Keely S. Ong is an undergraduate 2
nd
year student in De La Salle University
majoring in Marketing Management. She is consistently on the deans list since her freshman
year earning her Jose Rizal First and Second Honors Certificates. During her stay in the
university she has geared herself in preparation of the corporate world specifically the
marketing/advertising field. The Lasallian Pedagogical Framework of Transformative
Learning has helped in enhancing her creative and critical thinking skills.
A strong advocate for a just student body, she is a volunteer for De La Salle Universitys
Commission on Elections (COMELEC). She is currently a part of COMELECs publicity
committee whos in charge of designing publicity materials and room to room campaigns. In
addition, she is also a member of DLSUs Business Management Societys (BMS) Membership
Immersion Program (MIP) and ENGLICOM (ELC). MIP aims to produce future competent
leaders through learning by doing system which includes spearheading projects. ELC on the
other hand, is one of the oldest and largest student organizations in DLSU and the only one that
caters to Filipino-Chinese students. Its mission includes appreciation of both cultures and
dedicated service and nation-building. Being a person who is fond of socio-civic activities, ELC
is right where she belongs.
Caitlin is also known for being goal-oriented. She sees a target and she aims for it no
matter how many rejections and failures that may come along. She prides herself of being
adaptable, competitive and a fast-learner.
Aside from excelling academically, Caitlin is also a travel enthusiast and enjoys
immersing in different cultures. This not only enriches her experience but also widens her
perspective on different people both in a social and corporate manner.
Today, Caitlin continues to pursue a degree in Marketing Management. She continues to
enhance her capabilities both as a leader and a follower.
