Introduction

Jamming refers blocking of some frequency band in a region.

Principle Involved:
Basic principle involved is to generate radio
frequency signals, that originate from sources
outside the original source, transmitting the
same frequency and thereby masking targets of
interest.
Jammer
Jamming is considered an active interference source, that is initiated by elements
outside the source and in general unrelated to the source's signals

Varients of Jammer
• FM Jammer 88-108 MHz
• Cellphone Jammer 885-960 MHz

Application

 During a hostage situation, police can control when and where a captor can
make a phone call. Police can block phone calls during a drug raid so suspects
can't communicate outside the area.

 Cell-phone jammers can be used in areas where radio transmissions are

dangerous, (areas with a potentially explosive atmosphere), such as chemical
storage facilities or grain elevators.

 It can be used in places like Hospitals,

restaurants, movie theatres, concerts,
shopping malls and churches where silence is
required.
